You gave the city this unfair power, now give us the power of the party system in city hall! Maybe you can get my vote back if you do.

Things need to change for the better. Politicians have to stop worrying about lining their already fat wallets with money that they take out of our already thin wallets.

With new powers given to Mayor Miller and his executive, they are effectively running the City as a Party where no one else is allowed a voice or for that matter gets information. The only way to confront this sort of governance is with a party.

We must unify if we are to ensure sound management of our City, our resources, taxation rip-offs and run-away expenditures by the Gang of 42 now running city Hall. Most of these self-serving parasites must be replaced by common-sense candidates backed by a principled Party with valid aims and sensible management goals applied in the best interests of the Public. george moore

It would seem to me that Toronto City Hall already has party affiliation so why not make it official. As a life time resident of Toronto and business owner the city of Toronto needs all the help it can get to enable it to thrive once again. Too many people have chosen to leave and start businesses in the 905.

It stands to reason that less confusion while voting change made for the better. Why not. I hope that you guys in politics only call elections when we truly need them. The money that was wasted on the last election last month could have been used more productively in health care, education or the environment. Heck put the money into a job creation fund like green energy and into something useful for all no matter the party affiliation.
