Allow touch DNA testing to free Ryan Ferguson

  • by: Janice S Davis

I am asking for signatures to allow touch DNA testing to free Ryan Ferguson.  He is incarcerated in Missouri for a crime he didn't commit.  His defense team is paying the cost for the test and it will not cost the county a cent.  The test will clearly show that he was not the killer of Mr. Kent Heitholt.  Ryan Ferguson and his family have asked for the test, clearly showing they have nothing to hide.  The prosecution is using every delay tactic they can to not have the testing done, as it will bring shame to the injustice and incompetence they displayed in getting Ryan convicted.  Please visit website for Ryan Ferguson or Charles (Chuck) Erickson to read their tragic story and the wrongful conviction.  You will be shocked and outraged after you read what happened to these two young men, and you may even be frightened to realize that if this could so easily happen to them, it could happen to anyone.

We only have as of now, 28 signaures.  If any of you that read this already know about this tragic story, please sign!  We need all the signatures we can get if we are going to succeed with getting our voices heard.  If you are not familiar with the story, please do a search on Ryan Ferguson or Charles (Chuck) Erickson.  If you read what happened to these two young men, I can't imagine that you will feel anything but shock and outrage that this was allowed to happen.  It did happen though, and we need help, we need everyone's help.  When you sign the petition, please sign your name, and we can then forward it to the incompetent people in Boone CO Missouri that allowed this fiasic of a trial to take place in the first place.  I am not asking you to even give an opinion on guilt or innocence.  I do think however, when you read the information you will be as convinced in their innocence as I am.  This petition is only to allow touch DNA to be performed.  There is absoloutely no logical reason for the DA to object to the test, other than of course they will be shamed into having to admit they were wrong.  I think however, considering these two young men's lives at stake, having them shamed is small compared to two young men sitting in prison that are innocent.  The touch DNA is only to show that neither of these two were at the scene of the crime.  It won't even be at the expense of the county, the defense is paying for the test.  Ryan Ferguson is pleading for the test to be allowed.  If he was guilty, he would in no way fight so hard for this test, he just knows his DNA will not be found, because he wasn't there for it to be found.  Without your help, and your voice, we may not be able to get these officials to stand up and be held accountable and do the right thing.  Not allowing the test simply shows what is clear, they have something to hide and they don't want the truth.  They took oaths to uphold the law, to protect and serve.  Lets all take a stand for justice and demand that they do their job, the one they took the oath to do.  If we sit back and do nothing, this could happen to anyone, someone we love or care for.  It's time we showed these prosecutors and detectives that we won't allow them to abuse their power and we demand the truth be told and heard.  Please sign the petition, your voice will count!

Thank You
