The big car companies are never going to bring us electric cars. It just doesn't make business sense for them to make the huge investment required. The only way we are going to get electric cars is by supporting the electric vehicle industry as it takes it's own path to full use cars. Right now ZENN and other manufacturers have an introductory vehicle, a low-speed electric vehicle, that is perfect for community use. The Ontario government must take a balanced view of the pros and cons of this vehicle and allow them on public roads as they are realizing they are safer than many other forms of transportation such as scooters and motorcycles and that they will get safer as the industry develops.

Motorcycles have much less protection than a Zenn LEV car, yet they're allowed on all roads. Ensure that prospective buyers are aware of the safety limitations and allow Zenn on the road.
