people should have freedom of choice, religion is the first thing that people should have in their life, then comes education. because when we go in grave our religion and our deeds come in with us, not our diploma certificate neither our money. so please let these kids pray to have a better life here after.

This is a wonderful effort. Had prayer been more important in my life growing up I could have been a better Muslim.

I think students should have the right to worship regularly during the school year. How could you expect a student to be committed to school work if the school doesn't accept their commitment to their lifestyle/religion. I am not even a Muslim and I still believe that people should have the right to pray/worship the way their religion calls them to worship.

Let it be known that every individual will 'return to the world' calm, serene, peaceful and of positive mind after prayers. Thus it does not make sense to forbid the children to use their lunch break to attend the mosque for their prayers. Especially on Friday afternoons since it is compulsory for every Muslim male once he reaches puberty to attend Friday sermons and prayers. Schools should not worry unnecessarily over policies, systems, about how to go about explaining to other non-Muslim parents, etc. This is a good thing on the whole, to Muslims and non-Muslims alike ! Please think about it.

as much as i know, students are usually allowed out of school at lunch time, its their free time! therefor it is only just that you allow these student to make use of their time the best they know how, and that is to preform their prayers in their time.

It is THEIR religion and as a people we NEED to respect others' religions and/ or their rights. The freedom to practice whatever religion is OUR right as a person.

It is an obligation on all muslims to pray 5 times a day, on time, wherever possible! The students are calling for the right to pray during their LUNCH BREAK...!! Surely, this can't be a problem? GOOD LUCK TO THE STUDENTS - I HOPE YOU ACHIEVE SUCCESS!

The act of prayer itself instills all values and virtues that any education system supports. Schools are also about creating an environment and atmosphere for learning. Surely, no intelligent person will argue that prayer will actually assist in providing these attributes of learning. People of all ages return to 'the world' relaxed and calm after prayer.

let people practice their beliefs freely, otherwise we have no right to call ourselves "a country of freedom".
