Community Animal Rescue & Adoption, Inc. (CARA) Needs an Extreme Makeover

CARA is a no-kill animal shelter that helps dogs like Maggie to find forever homes. Maggie and her 5 babies arrivied at CARA in the closed trunk of a car during 95 degree plus temperatures. They were all near dead. CARA immediately went into rescue mode and not only saved the lives of Maggie and her 5 babies but found each and every one a forever home. Want more happy endings, then something extreme has to be done to give CARA the repairs and renovations it drastically needs. The community has kept the doors open for 9 years for an average number of 350 animal daily. Now CARA needs new doors (and windows, and roof, and much, much more). In other words, CARA needs an Extreme Makeover!!!!

We the undersigned are asking for Community Animal Rescue & Adoption, Inc. (CARA) be given an Extreme Makeover. CARA the largest no-kill shelter in Mississippi is located in Jackson and has already been submitted as a nomination. CARA rescues abused, abandoned and neglected dogs and cats. The goal is to find forever homes for animals while educating in responsible pet ownership, incuding spay and neuter. The community has kept the doors of CARA open for 9 years. It now needs new doors (and windows, and roof, and much, much more). Please help CARA help them.

If home is where the heart is then this is a large home. CARA is an awesome organization that takes in more animals than they can hold just because they love animals so much! They are a no kill shelter and when I adopt a pet, it will definately be from CARA! They are wonderful people with lots of love to give the many abandoned animals!

I heard someone say "If money can fix it then it's not a problem". While donations are always welcome and needed...It takes caring individuals time and effort to give these animals a chance. There never seems to be enough money or time for strays. These wonderful people @ CARA need new facilities for their work.

Cara deserves an extreme makeover because the building they are in is in great need of repair and since they are funded strictly by volunteers it would be very difficult to pay for all the repairs and keep all of the beautiful animals fed and sheltered, they do a wonderful job with the little resources they have, the workers there will go out in the middle of the night, dead of cold and rain, and extreme conditions to rescue an animal in need, and then nurse it back to health so it may be adopted into a loving home, they are wonderful and deserve an extreme makeover

This organization is devoted to the care of animals without homes. These animals remain there until they find really good homes. They deserve to live in a place that is in the best condition possible. They have often been mistreated and should have the opportunity to live in a really great temporary home.

I am an animal lover, especially dogs. Unfortunately, there are so many dogs out there that are strays and not enough facilities that take care of strays animals until they can find a good home for them. CARA does that and in order to keep it running, it needs an extreme makeover. Please answer the prayers of the animals and give the facilities an extreme makeover.
