Sport promotes a healthy body and mind. Boone has some of the best cycling in the country and for ASU to not have a Varisty team is a shame. This does not even mention their reputation as fierce competitors.

I am alumni.

Cycling isn't a mainstream sport in America, but it is in the rest of the world. Students who choose to be cyclists are leading a healthy lifestyle. I have known several App State cyclist over the years and their commitment despite funding is inspiring. They deserve to be a varsity sport.

I am an alumnus who is also a cyclist. I have witnessed the Appalachian Cycling Club at many races, including this past year's win at Nationals.
