I started this petition as a lark and in response to a petition someone created stating that Fox News was not as fair and balanced as they claimed when they reported the news, apparently someone must have gotten their feelings hurt by Fox when they said something critical about President Obama, his socialist agenda or his policies.

As I kept creating this lark, I wondered how many people out there are really getting sick and tired of the politically correct far left wingers complaining about everything and anything that does not conform with what they believe in. They believe their way is the only right way of doing things and how being a conservative today is evil and out of touch with the common man.

So then I thought I would make this a serious petition to see just how many folks out there thought like me and here we are. Now it is your turn to speak out, be silent no more and take control before it gets to far out of control. The elections are coming up and it will give us a chance to start setting things straight again.

It is less then 100 days into the Obama presidency and I am already sorry I voted for him. I did not realize I would be voting for socialism and the annoying left wing hangers on - like the person who created the petition against Fox News. This group is calling itself Media Matters and if it were up to Media Matters, we would have censorship against anyone who disagrees with the them or the left version version of things. The petition in question is one against Fox News for being a news station that reports "fair and balanced" news.

I am creating this petition because people are starting to call my conservative point of view, or the Fox News point of view, a bad thing. Since when is having a voice and opinion in what is happening this country a bad thing? Does it really matter what side of the river you are on? Some people think so and are against me and you I having a voice in this country. So my friends,

- If you are tired of the so called far left constantly complaining about everyone who doesn't agree with their point of view, then please sign my petition.

- If you are tired of being challenged every time you do not agree with one of Obamas policies, positions or initiatives, please sign my petition.

- If you are tired of the left wing Democratic party running over your rights, please sign my petition.

- If you are tired of hearing the whinny far left bashing you because they think they are the only ones who have a real opinion, please sign my petition.

- And last of all, if you are tired of the whinny far left politically correct way of doing things and think they are taking our country into an extreme left direction that we may never recover from, then PLEASE sign my petition.

It is less then 100 days and I am really getting tired of this run away group. The silent majority needs to stand up and be heard before the obnoxiously loud minority group destroys our country. Once we reach our number of 1,000,000 signatures, I will send this to the White House, Fox News, CNN, and BBC World. We have a voice so lets be heard and take back our country.

FOX News reports things as they really are, which is why people attack it so much. They have good views and tell the truth, and just like those old movies, people can't handle the truth. They don't want to know what is really happening, so they say it is biast or something pinheaded like that. As you can see, I watch O'Reilly. I basically watch FOX News for 2-3 hours everyday (I am on summer break from school) and can proudly and confidently say they are not in any way unbalanced. People (and Obama) can't handle the truth. FOX News is awesome, and people who don't think so are obviously liberal whiners. Oh, did I forget to mention pinheads?

You basically just said it all. And it is getting worse every day, I mean, every minute! It is a rare moment when my TV is on any other channel than Fox, (like to watch Animal Planet or the Discovery Channel and the likes) since I am interested in only the truth. Our 'President' just mocked those of us who care about our future and attended Tea Parties-believe me, there were ALL types there, not a Fox news, GOP mob. Thank you.

I've always classified myself as conservative. While I believe in equal rights, I also believe in God's word, which means that homosexuals should not be beaten and killed for being gay (excuse me...homosexual..), but neither should our schools be teaching our children that homosexuality is "normal and even desirable". If it were normal, our children wouldn't need to be told. We as Christians should not be sued for refusing to hire a homosexual youth pastor, boyscout leader, etc. Homosexual groups don't have to hire openly Christian applicants. Why should we not have the same rights? I'm tired of being bashed for being a Christian, yet facing the threat of persecution for so much as speaking about God.

It has been months since I've watched news from any other source except Fox News. The mainstream bias and prejudice is both alarming and disgusting. I watch news to get information about the world around me, not to be condescended to. Things must change.

I'm not a Republican or a Democrat. I'm a registered Independent voter who votes according to a candidate's policies and character. It just happens that I usually vote Republican, but I would vote for a Democratic candidate if I felt he/she were the best person for the job. However, Obama did not meet that criteria on any level. I basically feel he is a dishonest man who is out to destroy our country. As a nurse, I am frightened about the changes he wants to make with our health care system. I feel that I am usually well informed and use different medias to obtain my information. It became clear very early on that Fox News was the only network that I could trust to give me the facts. I don't need a journalist to tell me what to think. I'm fully capable of doing that on my own once I have all the data. I did participate in the Memphis, TN tea party. I was shocked and saddened by the media's treatment of our protest. Fox News was the only network that covered the events in a fair and unbiased manner. I now only watch Fox News. After witnessing the reporter from CNN, they couldn't pay me to watch that news station. She was rude, biased and antagonistic. Journalism is in dire straits. Thank God for Fox News.

Good luck with the petition! Let's hope there is still enough honesty out there for you to get the signatures that you need. Everything is spun by the media and the far left movement. If it were up to me, I would get rid of the media voices all together. If they can't tell the truth and/or both sides of the story (unbiasedly), get rid of them.
