Ask China to help the North Korean people

The North Korean people are the most oppressed people in the world. They are denied every kind of human right. They are severely malnourished; some are even so hungry that they have resorted to cannibalism. They lack even the most basic of medical supplies. They are deprived of numerous political, economic, and religious freedoms. Furthermore, the government arbitrarily detains, tortures, and executes its citizens in a large network of concentration camps. Needless to say, the North Korean people are in desperate need of change.
China can help bring about that change. China is North Korea's oldest and closest ally, and has heavy influence over North Korea. North Korea relies on China for support and assistance, and if China were to condemn North Korea for its numerous human rights abuses, North Korea would be forced to change its policies.
Please sign the petition and urge the Chinese government to help the North Korean people today.
We, the undersigned, wish to draw your attention to the plight of the North Korean people. As you know, the North Korean people are the most oppressed people in the world. They are severely malnourished, they lack even the most basic of medical supplies, and they are deprived of numerous political, economic, and religious freedoms. Furthermore, the North Korean government arbitrarily detains, tortures, and executes its citizens in a large network of concentration camps. Needless to say, the North Korean people are in desperate need of change.
We ask that you help bring about that change today. As North Korea's closest ally and its biggest trading partner, China has heavy influence over North Korea. Therefore, we ask that China use its influence to stop the numerous human rights abuses that the North Korean government has been committing against its citizens. We ask that you urge the North Korean government to provide adequate food and water to its people, as well as adequate medical supplies. We ask that you urge the North Korean government to grant its citizens more political, economic, and religious freedoms. And we ask that you urge the North Korean government to stop the brutal practices of the concentration camps.
North Korea relies on China for support and assistance. If China were to condemn North Korea for its numerous human rights abuses, North Korea would be forced to change its policies. It would be forced to improve the lives of its citizens, and the result would be that fewer North Koreans would flee to China.
