Ask Conrgess to hold a revote in Florida and Michigan, let the voters voices be heard

Target:
Voters - Democrats and of Florida/Michigan, all American voters rights
We the undersigned believe that all voters have a right to be heard. That goes for absentee ballot casters and those in the Democratic party of Florida and Michigan. We should make sure that the right candidate is chosen based upon the votes, and make sure the process is conducted fairly. Therefore, I call upon members of Congress to institute a re-vote in Michigan and Florida counting the delegates and superdelegates from each with a month or two of campaigning and the vote to be held just before the Democratic Convention. We need to make sure we pick a leader to represent the Democratic Party by the popular vote of the people but we need to make sure the process is fair and both candidates have time to campaign and also that both candidates are on the ballot. The key for the Democratic Party is to ensure that the process is conducted in a fair manner and the true winner whether it is Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama to be decided before the convention. Our focus should be on beating John McCain and exposing his Bush-like views and  message. We need to stop him from becoming the next president of the United States. To do that we need to ensure we have the best nominee chosen by the members and voters of the Democratic Party. Let's send a message to our leaders in Congress to re-examine a revote in Michigan and Florida and place both Clinton and Obama back on the ballot. The time is now

Every American has the right to be heard. If Florida and Michigan are not counted than this would make the entire primary poll result inaccurate. Americans who paticipated in this poll deserve a accurate result.

The first primary vote in Florida and Michigan was illegitimate because it violated Democratic Party rules, so having a revote within a month or two makes perfect sense. Get it over with!

Even though I am a registered Independent in the state of Florida, my husband acquiesced and registered as a Democrat in order to vote for Obama in the primaries only to have his vote negated by the arrogance of the powers that be. We both went to vote and feel cheated that by taking the time to do so matters not to the political process or takes into consideration the time spent and organization of holding the elections to begin with. I personally would love to see a re-vote and include registered Independents like in other states since I refuse to be a party affiliate and am an independent thinker so vote on issues and person rather than party lines.

Although it was a violation of the Rules of the DNC, I think all votes and delgates should be added to the total. Call for a revote if you cannot find the ballots. Hey we are Democrats! Let's not act like the other guys. This is something they would do. Granted, The DNC should have been the final authority on when primaries should be held but we need to consider the consequences of our action if we don't allow all delegates to be seated with voting priviledges at the Democratic National Convention.

I do agree all delegates should be seated. However, MI and FL made their decision to move their primaries, and need to live with the consequences.

As a life long Democrat, I have lost faith in my own party. This whole business has been a farce, When, in politics, timing is everything.. they have not only missed the boat, but also made the rest of of us, the people of Michigan and Florida, miss it as well. I am not a happy camper.

All person's NEED to be heard. I think with our candidates so close this is the ONLY way we can unite before the convention. The voters of those states have a right to be heard! Others states moved up their primaries and those votes counted, make sure these two states count too!

The elections need to go back to the american people. No more electorial votes or super deligates. This is bullpucky run by corporate businesses that are sucking the life out the the people. RETURN THE ELECTIONS, AND VOTES BACK TO THE PEOPLE.

If Fl and MI are not settled in a fair manner it will be the Democratic Party that will pay the price in Nov. I live in MI and I know how angry this has made people. How could you even let this happen? I am so disappointed in Howard Dean and the DNC. MI and FL weren't the only states that moved their primary's up, why are we the only two being punishid.

Count our votes, and give the people a right to representation by voice or vote with a revote for any voters who want to vote. MICHIGAN AND FLORIDA HAVE AMERICAN VOTERS RIGHTS TOO.

IF it is indeed time for a CHANGE, then yes, a "re-vote" would be the answer. Not merely letting the votes stand "as is", or ignoring those voters entirely. Let them RE-VOTE, and let's get on with this!!!

The voters of Michigan and Florida deserve to be heard. Lets send congress a message that a revote is wanted by the general public, their constituents.
