Ask Legislator's To Make Basic Rights For Animals

All animals deserve basic animal rights and when deprived of this protection, animals are defenseless against exploitation and abuse from humans.  By signing this petition you are telling Congress members to make basic legal rights for animals because all sentient being are entitled to protection in our society.

We the undersigned want you to make basic legal rights for animals because we believe that all sentient beings are entitled to this in our society.  Deprived of legal protection, animals are defenseless against exploitation and abuse by humans.  As no such rights exist, I urge you to pass legislation that supports basic legal rights for animals.
