Ask Make-A-Wish to STOP Supporting PETLAND

Please sign this Petition asking Make-A-Wish TO STOP supporting PETLAND!
Make-A-Wish grants childrens' wishes for puppies, by buying them from PETLAND -- ONE OF THE BIGGEST SUPPLIERS & SUPPORTERS of PUPPY MILL PUPPIES!  (*NOTE: I am NOT against dying children. I have DONATED to Make-A-Wish in the past. What I AM against, is PUPPY MILL PUPPIES & supporting this HORRIBLE industry. PERIOD. ) (I will get this petition to Make-A-Wish when we reach our goal!)

We need Make-A-Wish to know that people care about this. We demand change.
8 MILLION homeless cats & dogs KILLED in the USA alone. We have NO NEED to support PUPPY MILLS. We have MORE animals than we can place right now.
Tax payer dollars go toward euthanizing the homeless pets too. (If you don't care about lives lost, you may care about your tax money getting lost then!?)

We need to end the mass killing. Make-A-Wish needs to STOP supporting PETLAND.

Make-A-WISH FOUNDATION (Who I have supported in the past): Did you KNOW, that with WISHES asking for puppies -- M-A-W goes to PETLAND to get these said dogs! NOT kidding! I found out today when I received a letter in the mail thanking me for helping at a recent event. In this one page letter, I find out a kid named Lucas had a wish for a bulldog puppy, & then PETLAND (via M-A-W) catered to his wish! It was a HUGE EVENT/deal at this one Petland! PETLAND HAS THE WORST TRACK RECORD for PUPPY MILL DOGS! Make-A-Wish is thus supporting a CRUEL INDUSTRY.(Many puppy mill dogs suffer from illnesses that lead to a lifetime of treatment/expenses/pain or also death! They are NOT healthy dogs.)

Why should a sick child be given a sick dog as a gift?

ODDLY enough...A WISH at one point in time was granted for a girl to go to ASPCA HEAD QTRS in NY:  http://www.wish.org/stories/animals/animals/rayanne_aspca

*VERY IRONIC if you read that last link. Perhaps  M-A-W may KNOW better.. but money/advertising is in the BIG picture here. And the public NEEDS to speak out on this. (I think the ASPCA should get involved as well.)

No EXCUSES NOW. I realize that we do NOT live in a perfect world... but this is SOMETHING SIMPLE that they can do.

Make-A-Wish has a HUGE platform to help influence people toward positive choices. SO, WHY support PUPPY MILLS? WHY SUPPORT PETLAND!? WHY SUPPORT GREED and CRUELTY? 

THIS IS WHAT I WOULD LIKE FROM YOU ALL:

1.) SIGN THIS PETITION and PASS IT ON TO ALL YOU KNOW!

2.) Write a polite letter ASKING that since Make-A-WISH NOT support Puppy Mills and NOT support PETLAND. LET THEM KNOW PETLAND does get puppy mills puppies to sell--This is where 95% something percent of their dogs come from! Petland supports CRUELTY TO ANIMALS!

ASK M-A-W to support local rescues & shelters. They should ALSO visit :

One good deed deserves another! Can you imagine, an animal being saved? A sick child feeling good about adopting an animal from a rescue? (There is a rescue for EVERY BREED, shape, sex, size, weight, age, etc of cat or dog or PUPPY that ANYONE could ever want!) Adoption. Helping END Puppy Mills.
What a beautiful thing that would be! :)
