BABY P call for accountability and tougher sentences

A 17 month year old baby in Haringley, London, UK was tortured and murdered by his mother, mothers boyfriend and lodger. These three criminals only received 14 years maximum in prision. They most probably will only serve less than 7 years before they are released for this disgusting crime and will most probably go onto to commit this crime again. The UK's Social Services in Haringley saw the baby over 60 times and falled to spot, missing finger nails, toe nails, broken ribs and broken spine to name but a few disgusting injuries caused by the above monsters. A Doctor employed by Great Ormand Street Hospital also failed to spot these injuries! and Police told the mother she would not be prosecuted for the injuries on her child. Please sign this petition to call for accountability for those involved in the baby P case and for the monsters to have tougher sentences. To also add to this devestating crime, Baby P's mother has given birth whilst in police custody to a baby girl and Haringley Social Workers were apealing against the decision of the police to take the baby away from the mother because they 'felt it was important to bond with the mother'. Thank god, the police have finally some sense. Please stand up and be heard to make a difference to other babies and children in the UK who maybe suffering torture and abuse as I am writing this petition. Thank You.

I think itīs absolutely disgusting that these people will not be charged with murder,who has doubt in this case,and donīt start about the miserable youth the mother of baby P. had! Itīs already a shame that the social services let her get pregnant at the first place. after the neglect of her first children . some people needs to be sterilized before they can do harm to a baby who is absolutely without chance. especially when are not able to help this baby boy!

This baby could not run or hide from his abusers/ torturers. He could not speak of the terror he lived with. His frail and broken body could take no more of the beatings and finaly his body was broken, he died alone,his pain was months. There were many hands in ignoring his torture. 3 culprits participated. I cannot BELIEVE that this kind of thing could happen...What is wrong with this world...we are supposed to take care of our children...these were not just long term abuse but torture too...I know we shouldnīt judge, but how can you watch this happen to your baby that youīve given birth to and NOT DO SOMETHING AND COVER IT UP!!...I cry tears for this child and he wasnīt mine...how could a mother do this ......this kind of thing should be SEVERLY punished...And the person that did this...Life imprisonment....this could happen again. Sick people who seem to be getting away with it. Slack workers who've had/have kids & failed to see the torture that Baby P was going through. Failures of the system to punish those who are responsible and those who failed to be responsonsible and possibly giving them a massive pay off for doing nothing. The 3 adults deserve to rot in jail (& hell) & those who were supposedly in charge to be sacked with no further delay and no pay-off either.

Social Services and government should be held immediately accountable and the full report published to both sides of the government and general public too has this Labour government is concealing who are to blame and the only person named was a single doctor who has since been removed from the General Medical Register. Criminals and terrorists are using the UK Human Rights to protect themselves rather than what it was meant to do. I feel for baby P because I have been where he was, thank god I survived but this mother and two men need to be identified and so does everyone who failed this baby, time to name and shame these so called professionals who get paid a lot of money to protect children and their mothers, yet failed this little boy over 60 times until after his death. Please make sure this never, ever happens again.

This is heart wrenching. This should never be allowed to happened. Here in Canada, U.K, China, or anywhere. We have systems in place to ensure the well being of children but they never seem to work properly. We have had similar incidents here in Canada. It just saddens me to think that children everywhere are faced with such monsters and the ones who we assign to protect them fail miserably! That is why we need the death penalty back. People do not fear the punishment so they continue with the crimes!

The murderers charge of 'causing or allowing death' needs to carry a sentence equal to murder. What they did to Baby P is incomprehensible how is a few years imprisonment justice!!?? It is an insult to Baby P!! What kind of society are we living in when we send out the message that it is ok to neglect and abuse your children to death because that isn't murder!!! Who ever dreamt up that law should be ashamed!!!!

A life sentence is to good for these people.. a death sentence more appropriate! however life imprisionment without any chance of getting out! and no luxuries ever would suffice! also all people who set eyes on this child! doctors! nurses! social workers! should be given the sack for not doing there job properly!!! these people are in these jobs for the salary not the care!!!! a young helpless child suffered because of negligence not only from his abusers but also from us!!!!!
