Why is it ok for someone to call CPS and make false allegations and nothing is done? The people that do this do not get into any trouble. It should be the same as making a false police report. Even if it is found that you didnt neglect or abuse your child it is still on your record.

I understand that CPS is a necessary entity. However, when there is no evidence of abuse they need to worry about children that are in danger and leave good parents alone. If they do not have enough real cases, they need to find something better to do with their time than make problems for caring parents using false accusations from others.

All I could do was pray for those poor little souls who god gave us to love and care for. These little miracles were killed neglected, hurt, starved. I worked for a shelter for abused children and it was not a pretty site. The evil things people do to these kids they are suppose to love and care for makes me ill. All I could do while looking at all of these pictures and reading the cause of death of children who died such horrible deaths was to say a prayer and cry for the pain they indured. God Bless our children. CPS are evil liars who must be stopped.

MY CHILDREN WERE SEIZED BY CPSON 5/21/08 BASED ON FALSE ALLEGATIONS. I waited almost 31 years to have my precious son. And he is worth the wait, and the 9 months, and the pain of delivery. When he was 4, we clung to each other and saved each other as the man that fathered him and spent half of his life with me became physically and mentally abusive to both of us, and cheated on his family. He threatened to take our baby then. It didn't happen. Finally free and happy, his family struck again. And I stood by my son's side as his face was stitched up, and no one asked a thing. No CPS, nothing. We are happy again, and we find someone to share our world with. Monkey (his nickname...one of many) is happy and says he loves ALL 3 of us like parents. And, one of the three just can't handle that. He calls CPS and makes allegations. They storm in, and 9 months later we are still going through pure hell. We have all been torn apart. I FOLLOWED THEIR PLAN, AS DID HIS FUTURE STEPFATHER, AND THEY TOOK MY SON. FOR 95 DAYS. They never investigated, and they never talked to witnesses. I am now in a custody battle with the ex. The exact reason I gave them when they came knocking at my door. The experts say my son is fine and safe. He always was. But, yet again, his father has broken his heart. But, yet again, he didn't divide the two of us. He only made mother and son stronger. But, thousands and thousands of dollars later, we are still battling. Why? Because CPS set their minds to one thing and looked only at that. They refused to look at the abuse on the father's side. They are useless. The ex stalks me and threatens me, and they don't care. They go home to their families at night, after tearing apart so many during the day. Shame on them. Their services are so needed, but it takes qualified, dedicated people that want to actually save children. Until then, we are wasting our taxpayers' money.

CPS needs to be very careful. Why does CPS like to cause harm and damage to innocent people and their children? I do agree with some of the other comments too. Children do belong to their parents and not CPS. I have no faith in CPS either.

Why is CPS removing children from homes without good reason? THey are causing more harm than good. They should do more thorough investigations when an allegation is made. They should also train their employees to ask the proper questions and not get just enough information to get someone in trouble. I have no faith in the CPS system.

CPS is supposed to have a primary goal, and that is to reunify a family with its children, however they are doing the opposite. We must stop this madness, we pay their salaries, and fund their programs for education. We need to lobby for change in the opposite direction that CPS is heading. We shouldn't allow these people, most of whom have not raised a child in their short lives, to separate families, and damage more relationships because of WHAT THEY FEEL IS IN THE BEST INTEREST OF A CHILD. Lets put LAW back in to play, and stop giving so much power to these quite inadequate people. What happened to good old fashioned parenting? Not good enough any more, most of us were raised in this fashion, and we seem to be doing quite alright.

My children were removed from my home in Utah on two occasions. One in March 2000 and the other October 2001. The first time was in Weber County and my now teenager sons told me that the night they were removed they were thrown against an entertainment center and the wall. They told me they told the case workers this and the I was not the one who did this to them and I had been at work and was not aware of this happening. THis never was reported to me while the case was going on. In fact I can prove numerous lies that were told in court with reguards to this case by more than one person. I was accused of throwing my sons and when asked how they got the bruses I did not know.....but the case workers did and did not disclose this to the courts or myself. Of course I was not able to speak to my children about the issues so I had no way of finding out about this. I was not able to explain the bruses so as they said "I was lieing". The second time the children were removed while I lived in Davis county. THe reason was because I had a case in Weber county .....so they did not have to prove the reason. I now have full custody of my children and soon after the case in Davis county was closed I moved to Virginia. My ex husband made a claim against me for child abuse and Virginia investigated and found no substantiation. I have since had a intensive in home study which found that I am a great parent. My sons are about to graduate from high school and move on to college. WE have had ALOT of ups and downs created by the mess of a CPS system. I have since had cancer, nerve damage and other health problems which are exasperated by the high levels of stress I endured during those years when CPS STOLE my children. If there are any protests or campaigning that is going to take place in DC I would like to participate and be a part of this. I live 18 miles outside of DC and would be willing to open my home up for use during these events to help bring reform to a screwed up mess.
