BAN all types of automatic "air-toxifiers"

 We are here to clean up this city and eventually all cities. One major step is to ban the production of such  useless products as the chemical spewing, plug in or battery operated, so called "air fresheners"!!!! 
  My Girlfriend is highly sensitive to chemicals and anything unnatural can and HAS set her into uncontrolable spasms and fits of asthma, BUT NOTHING HAS MADE HER COME SO CLOSE TO NOT EVER BREATHING AGAIN... AS THE PLUG-IN, SO CALLED "AIR FRESHENER" how can it even be sold as an air freshener when all they do is spew toxic chemicals into the air??? how can we be told that, is it not false advertising?

         When we travelled from Snow Lake MB to Vancouver in March 09, my family pulled in for the night a a relatives house to spend the night. We had noticed a perfume in the air when entering the door but couldnt place it to anything.  My girlfriend told me that she could feel her lungs tighten almost instantly but thought maybe the cat box beside the front door was the cause. As we carried on into dinner I noticed my beautiful Girlfriend was lookin pale and she had been useing her ventiilator quite a lot. It was a surprise for me to see her even using it because in the 3 years i have known her she has never pulled it out let alone use it. I knew something was wrong but not to what extent or what the cause was.... So we went to bed after a short bit cause we where tired and didnt feel very well after dinner..........  
    I woke up around midnight to my Girlfriend wheezing and coughing in her sleep....... barely able to make a breath at all in between the hacking fits and muscle spasms...... I had to wake her up as she was under some kind of chemically induced coma...... and practically carried here outside. It took about half an hour before she could breath without to much difficulty and  I insisted that she sleep in the truck even tho it was packed to the rim.

The next day we where packing our stuff up in the house and all her same symptoms came back very quickly.... it was then that i noticed the multiple auto-spray "AIR-TOXIFERS" 

I turned off all of them and wrapped them in glad wrap... it was almost like stepping in to a new home ...with the windows open the house was livable again. The couple that lived there denied that anything was wrong when they got home and saw ther mass amount of plastic, factory made Disease all wrapped up in a nice neat bundle on the countertop. The husband even admitted  that he takes asthma medication to keep his lungs open............. but they still insist that nope nothing is wrong with our chemical spewing little death sprayer ....it is just there to "freshen" the air. Isn't something "fresh" supposed to be free of chemicals and crap that we arn't supposed to breath...eat ....or drink
Imagine  what it must be doing to our intestines and organs...... as the OIL SETTLES ON YOUR FOOD AS YOU PREPARE, SERVE AND EAT IT.
 think of all the chemicals that one spray adds to the air and if you set the timer to 15mins that is alot of chemicals a day that are settling not only on you and your space but your pet......your children.... their toys.....your neighbors space as the wind could carry the chemical quite far with the right conditions........  everything gets a coating of oil. 

Luckily our Two Kids don't share Moms sensativity because they would have not made it through the night!!!!!  would YOU think to look into the corner of the room at the "AIR FRESHENER" if YOUR child or yourself where having problems? 

I don't think anyone should have the right to pollute our Air as well as the environment in such a useless way..... not when we have much better alternatives.
