To have the City of Surrey:

• Ban the sale and availability of bottled water at City owned departments and facilities
• Promote the consumption of municipal tap water over bottled water
• Increase access to clean water by ensuring there are sufficient water fountains available for employees and the public
• Raise awareness of the positive environmental and health benefits of tap water over bottled water

We the undersigned residents of the City of Surrey, petition the City Council:

To eliminate the sale and availability of bottled water at City of Surrey departments and facilities. Instead, the City of Surrey should promote the use of tap water and increase access to clean water by ensuring there are sufficient water fountains available for employees and the public. As well, the City of Surrey should raise awareness of the positive environmental and health benefits of tap water over bottled water.
