THERE ARE SO MANY SHELTERS IN GEORGIA THAT HAVE URGENT PETS TO BE SAVED. ANOTHER ONE IS THE SPAULDING COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER.
I WANT TO THANK EVERYONE WHO TAKES THE TIME TO SIGN. THE ANIMALS AND I APPRECIATE YOUR EFFORT.
As a future animal parent, we the undersigned are asking you to seriously consider adopting from one of the many United States shelters that use gas chambers to euthanize dogs, cats, litters of kittens and puppies, particularly in the southern states.
This is a cruel and unneccesary procedure, just as painful and wrong as it was when used during WWII on humans. Often the animal is not dead and is thrown away with the garbage or submitted to another bout in the gas chamber.
There is no doubt that a dog compatible with your daughters' allergy can be found. Every young girl wants a puppy but don't rule out young dogs they give just as much love ,already have some training and are the second to be killed after older dogs, who were abandoned by their owners. And remember that the new non-allergic "designer " breeds
are no different than the mixed breeds found in these shelters, except they used to be called "mutts".
Everyone is waiting and watching to see the new " First Dog", you would be a great role model and advocate for many people by adopting/saving a pet from this situation. Actions speak louder than words. Thank you for taking the time to read this letter.
