i believe that by banning pornography, people will be more conducive to eachother's lives, more respectful and appreciative of eachother as humans, less violent, deceptive, greedy, arrogant and so forth. Pornogrphy seems to free the mind but really it enslaves it and corrupts one of its key roles: survival.

I think porn shold be banned. It is teaching the wrong way to view women...i think it is a form of abuse to women, women are not sex objects we are human beings and should be looked at and aprreciated for who we are not what we are. Sex is wonderful but porn is extreme and makes men expect the extreme from women or they are not satisfied....porn just ruined my relationship....my boyfriend was hooked and said he could not live without it. He chose porn over love....something is wrong!

As long as we're amongst ourselves (the anti-porn ppl) the people who most need our help will never truly receive it. Everyone who has signed this petition came here for a reason, we all know what that reason is, so it is now our soul responsibility to take a stand in what we believe is right and just. Have the courage to share your way with the people in your life, they may despise you for it, but eventually they'll call you a saint, you'll be one of the few people they meet that'll change their life.

At 11:13PM Thursday 17 September 2009 I promise to stop looking at porn. I feel so guilty looking at it, I just hate it so much. I'm only a teenager I don't want to be corrupted by all this FAKE CRAP. Its not real....its all fake! All the people are addicted to crack and have STD's. Why would anybody in there right mind want to view that, HARDCORE PORN can ruin the way you think towards woman and towards everybody. My marriage has been irreversibly damaged by pornography addiction. My husband loves me. He adores me. Yet for all that love that he has for me; he has been unable to break this nasty habit. So many people insist that porn is harmless & the damage it causes is all in our heads. If we would just loosen up a little...if only we had higher self esteem...if we would just realize that looking at other women is a biological NEED(Not)...if only we knew that they don't Really want those women(yet cant stop)... but really. Forget about all that. self esteem, body image, its not about you yadda yadda. Isn't it quite enough that it hurts me? Regardless of the reason? Shouldn't that be enough to stop. He loves me. He would do and could do anything in the world for me. Except stop looking at porn. Now tell me that is harmless? When you want to stop doing something for the one you love, and you just...can't?
