For the record, I'm only 26 started looking at online porn at 14, got hooked. Realized long ago I had a problem, porn is wrong, and that it had to stop, still have periods of remission (porn-free) and then binges where I waste a whole weekend and then my grades in school suffer. What really bothers me is that much internet porn both involves and fuels trafficking and slavery of women into sex and also involves also american and otgher country teens, children and women trafficked elsewhere. I was too young at the time to even be aware of this and thought the women were willingly doing this- but when you really look at their expresisons carefully in pics or videos you realize they're faking smiles, and you;ll notice that many have red eyes (prolly from drug addiction), or you'll see a lot that actually look like they enjoy whatever is happining to them- but they prolly brainwashed themselves into denial to avoid the pain of the truth. Additionally there is much racism associated with the porn of all races targeted to all women- whether they are white, black, oriental etc. I feel guilty about years of viewing this crap wothout even knowing I was contributing to this trafficking- but how was I to know?- I was a young teenage guy. Now I know how bad this is and I want those sites banned: sites such as bangbros (very brutal for exploitation and humiliation), and all the sites assoc'd with the bangbros network there are many others but obviously the names would be too vulgar to post here. Anyways I still feel ashamed of myself and I want to end this I really sincerely do, but its like a cig or alcohol addiction for me; somehow I've got to kick this- but one thing for sure- I KNOW that PORN (esp. internet) is BAD, seriously, its just like poison no matter how good it seems from far away. I feel bad about all the girls who are on the websites- so many of them beautiful only to have their lives wasted with some a-hole pimps and traffickers that forced them into this, if I wish I could help them out somehow, and if I had known earlier about this I'd never have gone into this garbage. I definitely sign this petition...

Children need to stay educated! The misguided adults of this planet earth have already been lost chidren for decades. What about the future? We need to be alot more responsible for the future generations. For they are the world...seriously. give us back our freedom to browse and learn in peace and saftey without the fear and disgust that these digusting few push onto every time we switch our computer on. These computers are in our own homes and we shouldnt have to deal with this ever if we dont wish to. The beauty of love and respect for each other is being crushed by these being who are sapping our energy with this filth. nothing is left for our imaginations and im sure thats what we want- how better to dumb down a population than to take away their ability to think for themselves and be able to express themselves freely? Too easy to access this stuff for free on the net and my child is one that has. I would like stricter guidlines on the net for this stuff and steep fines for those who violate those guidelines or ban it altogether. We need to get a grip on the porn problem in this country!!!

It would be fantastic if all of the resources that go into pornography ($2.84 billion in revenue was generated from U.S. porn sites alone in 2006- http://www.techcrunch.com/2007/05/12/internet-pornography-stats/) were instead used for clean entertainment or education.

Pornography is evil and shouldn't be on the internet where it can tempt children and adults. It's sick that it's being offered for free and that anyone can fall into it's trap. It also causes addiction and can ruin relationships and corrupt our childrens minds. I am a 21 year old woman who is sick of women being portrayed as men's objects and wants all the women in the world to wake up and see that pornography is making fun of them, not showing off their value! Women need to feel like they are appreciated for being who they are individually. We're not here for some guy to fantasize about us. We're people and we want to be treated with respect and want to be thought of as respectful.
