Whereas many people have been injured and killed participating in the "sport" known as ultimate fighting in which there are very few rules to control the violence,
and whereas children often get injured as they imitate the action they see from ultimate fighting on television,
We the undersigned hereby request that the "sport" known as ultimate fighting be outlawed in the State of California.
We the undersigned are shocked and horified by the the number of deaths and injuries caused by the "sport" known as ultimate fighting. We are also shocked by the injuries children suffer as they imitate the moves they see from it on television.
We therefore would please like you to outlaw this violent "sport" in the State of California before more injuries or deaths occur because of it.
