Ban water bottles in Canada.

Target:
To ban water bottles
Sponsored by:
Sure, there handy but not everybody recycles them, they take so much energy to make and the chemicals leach into your water! Why not just ban the water bottle and get reusable ones that anr safe, you can use them and reuse them as many times as you want, and in the winter you can put hot drinks in them as well!  all they do now is land up in landfills waiting YEARS to disinagrate.

I'm not sure about YEARS to disinergrate because I heard it took more than 100 years to decompose these bottles. We need to act fast and ban ALL beverages in plastic bottles. If we don't ban soda as well, for example, we will be promoting JUNK beverages while allowing people to continue to consume the poison within (BTA).

Plastic bottles are the biggest waste of resources I can imagine. Switched to a reusable bottle. Some really nice ones that we bought are from http://www.metalwaterbottlestore.com

I always, always refill my water bottle, either from the tap or my Brita jug. It's easy to do and less damaging than throwing away each bottle after use.

Every bit of plastic ever create unless deliberately destroyed still exists and will continue to do so for hundreds or more years. This waste despoils the countryside as litter and fills garbage dumps ruining land that could otherwise be left pristine or used in other beneficial ways. Not only that it is even toxic for us leeching harmful false estrogen into their contents. On top of that are the resources spent creating them and the fuel consumed in carrying them by the millions to us. And finial they undermine access of clean water for all people by put a price on what should be free. In other words there is no good reason from there continued usage especial since there are readily usable alternatives available
