Be Sensitive Humanitarian Day will help bring public awareness to the financial challenges of those charitable non-profit organizations making a significant difference in the common good, by providing voice and value to those most in need; regardless of race, gender, economic status, national origin or other identities. Our objective is to make Be Sensitive Day a celebration of the work and accomplishments of nonprofit humanitarian service providers and encourage everyone to offer their time and support to those organizations, educational facilities and corporations who demonstrate a sensitivity to our planet through their technologies, facilities and over-all humanitarian efforts.
Honorable Legislators:
We the undersigned, affix our signature to this petiton as a request for November 1st to be named "Be Sensitive Day" on or before 2010.
We believe Be Sensitive Day will assist charitable non-profit organizations by bring attention to their missions, efforts and achievments as well as recognition to their donors, sponsors, spokespersons, volunteers and other supporters of their services.
As a citizens of the United States, I believe we have a responsibility to help bring public awareness to the financial challenges of charitable nonprofit organizations who make a significant difference in the common good and provide voice and value to those most in need; regardless of race, gender, economic status, national origin or other identities.
I respectfully request of you to vote yes for November 1st to be named "Be Sensitive Day", as a national celebration of philanthropy.
