Boeing Pension Denial

Boeing Pension Denial

Target:
Boeing Helicopters
Sponsored by:
My father Charles Watson filed for his pension in April 2008.  It was to commence on May 1, 2008.  After battling lung cancer for four years he died on April 29,2008 at 7:35 in the evening.

Upon his filing he opted for the 10 year guaranteed survivor disbursement. Boeing received his submission on April 19, 2008.
Because, he passed away less than 48 hours prior to May 1st, Boeing has elected to deny his request.  This is after 46 years of service!!!

In addition to the above travesty, Boeing cancelled his life insurance because he was out on approved Medical disability.  My father was totally unaware of this.

The greed of this company is intolerable, leaving no monies to maintain my father's estate.

Please join my family in our protest of Boeing's injustice.

Sincerely,

The Watson Family

Your corporate greed is unbelievable. Give these children what they rightfully deserve from their father's life long work for your company. Have you no morals, do you really take a good look at yourself in the mirror every morning. DO THE RIGHT THING FOR GOD'S SAKE! This man gave his life to you and this is your way of returning the hard work?

This is a travesty and not the proper reward for a loyal employee of 46 years.

The way Boeing is treating this situation is absolutely shameful.

I think what is happening to my cousin's family is unconscionable. He was one of the most dedicated individuals I know with respect to his position at Boeing. He gave forty-six years of his life to this company. God will have the last word

I believe Boeing has denied a lot of retired persons of their rightful benefits and especially the prior McDonnell Douglas personnel, myself included. I recently read about a law suit filed because of the way they calculate the benefits to be received. Your family absolutely should be receiving survivor benefits. Hire a lawyer and sue, it sounds to me that Boeing is violating the law.

I cannot fathom the idea of a company denying insurance benefits to a family whose grieving the lost of their father/grandfather. The same man who has given Boeing over 40 years of service. This is a TRAVESTY and justice will prevail...SHAME ON YOU BOEING!!!

I know that companies have an obligation to make a profit for their investors, but not at the cost of the workers and their families survival. Please rethink this decision of denial and put yourselves in this family's shoes. Show compassion! Thank you

Mr. Watson was a very dedicated worker. Where is the reward for such dedication if it is denied to his family? Was this pension and life insurance offered with the hope that perhaps you could find a way never to pay it on a technicality? I hope not. Practices like that were made illegal a long time ago. Boeing, if you don't treat people with good faith, sooner or later it will catch up with you. God knows.

This is a disgrace. Mr. Watson worked hard and long years to provide for his family after his death. It is inconceivable that someone would count hours and determine that no benefits will be allowed because of "poor timing".

The injustice of this act should serve as a warning to others working at Boeing right now. It would be stupid of this company to show how cruel they really are.

Given his 46 years of service I think it only fair that Boeing reconsider it's decision. It's pluasible that Mr. Watson did not fully comprehend the nuances of rules and regulations regarding his pension.

I think it is Outrageous that the Boeing Company would deny Benefits and close out an employee's Life Insurance Policy without notifying Charles Watson. Mr Watson spent over 40 years as a dedicated employee of the Boeing co,this is the way the co has seen fit to treat his Beneficiaries after his Demise.

Is greed and selfishness the ethics of today? What message are you sending to your employees and future potential employees? How do you expect to be trusted in the world of business when you do such unjust actions. Please reconsider your stance. God is watching you!
