Boycott of Entercom Radio Stations

On May 28th, 98.5 KRXQ in Sacramento aired the Rob, Arnie & Dawn in the Morning show as normal. However, the conversation went downhill very quickly. Rob Williams and Arnie States turned the show into a platform to spew hatred and suggest violent acts towards the Gay, Lesbian & Transgender community. This is to call everyone who feels that people should be treated equally no matter their sexual orientation, race or creed to boycott all of Entercom Radio Stations until a public apology is issued from Rob Williams & Arnie States or until they are fired. Entercom has MANY radio stations in MANY markets, so please be sure to check the list below for the station closest to you. Sign this petition to let everyone know you WILL NOT tolerate this behavior and you WILL NOT listen to the Entercom radio station closest to you. Please forward this along to anyone you know in the metros with radio stations listed below. The only way to bring this to Entercom's attention is to hit them where it hurts... The numbers!!

I just want everyone to know that signed the petition I have had a change of heart. Initially I wanted Ron & Arnie to be fired due to their lack of sensitivity and refusal to issue an apology over the air after the May 28th broadcast. Today, however, everything changed. I listened to most of their open forum this morning with, what at first was, complete skepaticism. I didn't believe any apology issued would be geniune. I was wrong. The broadcast was not only heartfelt and poignant, but extremely informational. I didn't understand what a transgender individual goes through, but the Ron, Arnie & Dawn show opened my eyes to that this morning. I am calling all of you now to hold Ron & Arnie to their promise. Challenge them to keep violence and hate towards youth off of their show. Listen on KRXQ.net from anywhere in the country, starting at 7 AM PST, Monday thru Friday. We need to be vigilant in ensuring this type of situation does not happen again. I trust that it won't, but please help by keeping Ron & Arnie's promise to the youth of our country.
