Make a Portion of Brevard County's Beaches Dog Friendly

Let's follow the lead of many other Florida counties and cities and petition for a public beach accessible to people and their dogs! There are many other cities and counties that make beaches available to dogs, from New Smyrna to St. Petersburg, Jacksonville to Cape San Blas... these beaches  have dog-friendly areas and Brevard's beaches should too.

We the undersigned wish to ask for your consideration of making a portion of Brevard county's beaches dog-friendly. Many beaches all around Florida have dog friendly access (New Smyrna, St. Petersberg, Jacksonville, Amelia Island, Cape San Blas, Flager Beach all have dog-friendly areas). New Smyrna Beach is one of the closest dog-friendly beaches for Brevard residents. We have to drive over an hour to get to this dog-friendly beach. Why not make a portion of the Brevard beaches dog-friendly to those pets with responsible owners? We'd clean-up after our pets, we just want a designated area where our dogs can play at the beach.
