BRICKYARD 2008 REFUND

Target:
GET A REFUND FROM GOODYEAR AND/OR IMS FOR BRICKYARD TICKETS
Sponsored by:
I paid good money to see a "race" at the indianapolis motor speedway on July 27, 2008, but was denied that due to the quality or lack of quality of the tires provided by Goodyear to the drivers of NASCAR.

In 2005, Formula 1 raced at this track and the tires were so bad that teams WITHDREW from the race. The track and the tyre company refunded the fans their money. We should demand the same treatment.

As far as I'm concerned I'm tired of the finger pointing. I don't care whose fault it is. All I know is I bought my tickets from IMS to see a race and there was no race that day. All it was was a parade and pit stop competition with a few hot laps thrown in. Those arrogant people at IMS aren't going to refund tickets because all they care about is money. They could care less about putting forth a good product!

I've been coming to this race for a long time, but after this JOKE of a race, I did not renew my tickets. I would consider coming back if given a refund or discount on tickets next year.

I purchased tickets for my son as a gift. After a three hours plus drive-one way mind you-this so called race is a total debacle! (His first Nascar event) What a disappointment for him and for myself!!!

I have attend every one of the Brickyard 400 races. In the beginning with my father and after he passed away I continued the tradition. This year has to be the worst I have ever experienced. The caution race was a fiasco. I had brought 3 friends with me and I boasted the experience they will have at the track. With the cost of Motel, gas, food, souvies and beer. We spent quite a bit that weekend. To See What????? Man was I disappointed. To this day they will not stop about making fun of the Great Race.. Ha Ha I fully agree that there should be a refund.. From someone..

My family and friends paid over $500(a professional price) to attend the race to see professional racing for the 6th year in a row. Although NASCAR did its best to cover their mistake that day, ticketholders did not see a professional race. NASCAR is completely responsible for this debacle by maintaining testing rules intended to level the playing field between teams that only ends up putting an unprepared product on the track. We will not be renewing our tickets unless NASCAR and Goodyear provide some compensation to fans like Firestone did for the F1 race.

WHAT A JOKE, NASCAR SHOULD BE ASHAMED FOR THE TIRES AND FOR LETTING THEM BE THE OFFICIAL TIRE OF THE RACE, FANS SHOULD HAVE THEIR MONEY REFUNDED AND THEN SOME.

That was not a race. We traveled a long way and spend alot of money to se this disappointing event. The Race track should have refunded our money without us asking.
