I firmly believe that taking away 93x from the radio was a horrible choice! Many local rock bands have made it main stream do to locals only. And to be honest 93x was the only thing keeping me listening to Memphis radio!! Bring it back so I can have my true number one preset in my truck back!!!

93X was the only station that played music that wasn't classic rock or mainstream rock. It was fresh and brought new music and undiscovered artists--whether they were local or just underground--to the Memphis music scene. Please, for the sake of true, honest music, BRING BACK 93X!

This was, hands down, the best radio station the memphis area had to offer. They brought several successful music events into town, and did a great job of supporting local artists. If people want to listen to 680 espn radio, they can easily go to 680 AM on their dial and listen to the original, not cover up a great station with a "simulcast" of an AM sports station.

93x was the only hard rock station in this area. Why would you cut that station? Why not cut the stations that are all the same. I mean memphis has 4 radio stations that play "soft rock" bubblegum pop music on repeat. It is always the same songs over and over. Get rid of one of those stations if you must shut one down and bring back 93x!

I have been listening to 93X since i was really young. It was the only alt rock station in the area and it has been stripped away without any warning or anything. You have always had a huge following and support system. It is unfair and unjust to strip us of our right to hear good music. besides Sydney was one of the best dj's around. we miss her dearly

You've NO idea how upset I was when I turned on the radio on one day and BAM SPORTS! X.x; 93X was THE station my radio was always turned to in my car! It was the radio where I could actually hear music that wasnt really ugly, country, rap, or adult contemporary . . . It was wonderful. What happened?! They say "were moving to new studio and super excited!" then "BAM WERE SPORTS!" NOT Fair x.x At least give us an alternative to it!

93X was the only station in Memphis representing anything of the industrial and modern alternative rock music genres or any non-rap sub-culture. If Memphis is to continue as the diverse musical metling pot it has been for so long, we need at least some representation of these genres as well as a medium to bring such bands to the city for concerts.
