Bring Home Dugan and Jake Now
More than 500 days have passed since the Arizona Golden Retriever Connection, a volunteer, non-profit rescue group, has held hostage two senior golden retrievers, refusing to return them to their owner of 10 years, Joanne Williams of Chandler, Arizona.
Ms. Williams was under extreme emotional distress from a pre-natal pregnancy loss in August 2006 and mistakenly signed over her dogs to the rescue on December 2nd. Arizona Golden Retriever Connection (AZGRC) claims ownership stemming from the surrender contracts signed that day. Ms. Williams immediately took steps to rescind that surrender, and was met with indifference and emotional abuse by this group.
AZGRC is now putting up every legal obstacle and delay possible, hoping Ms. Williams will run out of money and the court case will go away. AZGRC is using donated funds to pay for their lawyers and fees to fight the battle against her. There is no reason for not returning the dogs.
This is a dog rescue run amuck and the leaders need to be stopped. They are arrogant, abusive and feel they have the superior attitude on knowing who should have a dog and who should not. They are out of control.
Joanne Williams needs her dogs back immediately. These are senior dogs, ages 9 and 10, and don't have years to wait out a legal battle.

Looking for Brianne Starck - where are you Brianne ??
If it is your child that you have given up for adoption but changed your mind, wouldn't it be a crime if they say they can't set any precedence? How can an organization that claims to rescue animal have no heart and soul? We should all boycott the organization.
I had a pregnancy loss and had asked my sister to watch my dog for a couple of days - and that was just in the best interest for my dog. Joanne needed help and got her dogs taken away permanently...very cruel.
Give the lady her dog back and give her some peace
Give these furbabies back to their loving owner. These babies want to be back home with their human. Give them back and make space for the homeless babies that need your help. Are you really a rescue or what?
Simply unbelievable, this rescue gives legit ones a Bad name
Give these people their dogs back. Are you crazy? They have been loving members for many years with this family and deserve to live out their senior years in comfort with the only family they have ever known! DO IT NOW!!! Spend your time with legitimate rescues that ned help. Not these two!
why not return them, the had a house?
If you are a rescue - then do the proper thing and give these dogs back to their original owner. She was under mental stress and probably didn't think she was able to look after them after her pregnancy loss. Have some COMPASSION, get with the program, these are older dogs who have become used to a routine. If it's a fit environment for the dogs then GIVE 'EM BACK. End of Story. Stop beating around the bush - why are you so mean????
if they have a good home to go too give them back and if you are a good rescue monitor there placement and give the spot to two new dogs who are in need
