Bring waterbirth to North Florida Regional Medical Center
We are looking to demonstrate the local interest in waterbirth and deep water immersion for the use of pain relief and relaxation during labor to North Florida Regional Medical Center. NFRMC has denied requests to bring birth tubs into the hospital as an alternative to medicated birth. This option is available at several hospitals within Florida as well as numerous birthing centers. There are no hospitals in North Central Florida that offer this option. We will take this signed petition to NFRMC to demonstrate the demand for such options. Thank you for taking the time to sign this petition!
We the undersigned want North Florida Regional Medical Center to offer deep water immersion (birth tub) to laboring women. This is a safe, effective, and highly desirable option for laboring women. If NFRMC begins providing this option, I would be much more likely to choose NFRMC for prenatal care and the birthing location for my future children.Thank you for your consideration.
