I feel that if politicians didn't have a problem w/it, and I'm sure that they know the rules, why should this be an issue. I know it's a sanitary thing, but let's be real. I honestly believe that laws are intended to serve humankind but times change and our knowledge advances but we still keep outdated unyielding laws that only seem to serve the governments revenue stream. Even if Small cat served my beverage I would have no problem as long as her paws were washed, but that isn't the case and she does stay in her area. I don't see what the problem is if this one person is so offended why don't they simply go elsewhere for thier coffee. I applaud anyone who stands up for running thier business thier way, the consumer can, of course choose to patronize whomever they wish. People are quite capable of deciding whether they wish to eat or drink in an animals presence. I for one would like to see Small Cat return home. Consider this if Small cat was a seeing eye dog, no one could legally deny her service or her right to live in her owners food service business. So is this really a cleanliness issue or another skewed law that should either be updated or eliminated. Thank you for your consideration, Charles Armstrong

I love cats. I feel like, if you don't like the cat being there....then don't go there. There are plenty of other spots in town for coffee, tea, etc..
Nearly everywhere you go in town, people bring their dogs. So why not a resident cat? Post the signs, that should be enough in my opinion. Cats are quiet (no barking) and friendly. You don't have to pet them, if you don't want to. Bring back Smallcat!!!
