Bury F.C. Drum Campaign

This is a one week campaign to overturn the decision made by Southampton F.C. to ban our drum from St Mary's for our big 4th Round FA Cup tie on Saturday the 26th of January.
We are not trouble makers but wish to add to the atmosphere at, arguably, our biggest match of the season.
In the last round, we took the drum to Norwich, with great success. It helped create a loud and fevered atmosphere that gee'd up the home fans into singing too.
After being expelled from last year's competition for fielding an ineligable player, we are enjoying our success even more and it would be a great shame if something so simple as a drum at a football match can no longer be part of the FA Cup.
We the undersigned, support Bury, and all football fans who wish to add positively to atmosphere at football matches, in their mission to bring their drums to St Mary's Stadium.
We believe that it is important to maintain a positive and healthy atmosphere at football stadia, at a time then health and safety issues seem to be taking away a lot of the freedom that football fans used to enjoy.
Therefore, we show our full backing to the fans of Bury Football Club in their quest to bring their drum to Southampton!
