El Sr. Alcalde de Almería por el Partido Popular, prometió en su programa electoral que la perrera de Almería, sería gestionada por protectoras de animales y que se prohibiría el sacrificio de perros y gatos abandonados. La triste realidad es que la perrera es un centro de sacrificio sistemático para los pobres animales que tienen la desgracia de entrar en ella. Por este motivo, La Plataforma de Amigos de los Animales de Almería, formada por la mayoría de Asociaciones proteccionistas de Almería, pedimos tu firma para exigir que el Partido Popular cumpla su promesa electoral a todos los almerienses.

The Mayor of Almería, from the Partido Popular political party, promised during his electoral campaign that the Almería dog pound would be managed by animal welfare groups and would prohibit the sacrifice of abandoned dogs and cats. The sad truth is that the pound is a centre for systematic sacrificing of the poor animals that have the misfortune of entering there. For this reason, the Platform Friends of Animals of Almería, formed by the majority of welfare associations in Almería, request your signature to demand that the Partido Popular complies with their electoral promise to all Almerians.

Los firmantes esperamos que, cumpliendo la promesa electoral hecha a los almerienses , cesen los sacrificios masivos de los animales acogidos en el Centro Zoosanitario Municipal de Almería (cientos de ellos son eliminados anualmente) , así como que dicho centro sea gestionado por protectoras de animales, como también aseguró a todos los almerienses se llevaría a cabo.
Wenn Jemand seine Zusage nicht einhält, gilt er als unglaubwürdig, sowohl als Privatperson, als auch als Politiker. Spanien sollte sich endlich einmal an die Tierschutzgesetze halten und sich diesbezüglich in der EU einfügen. Das Leid der Strassentiere in Spanien ist unvorstellbar. Ein Grund für uns, in Spanien und dessen Inseln keinen Urlauib mehr zu verbringen. Politiker wie Sie, können dazu beitragen, dass Spanien wieder einen besseren Ruf und ein besseres Immaage im Ausland erhält,was Tierschutz anbetrifft. Mein Gott- man glaubt ja, Spanien befinde sich im 15. Jahrhundert! Wir leben im 21.Jahrhundert Herr Bürgermeister!!
