We, the undersigned are asking TLC to cancel Jon and Kate until further investigation into the well being of the Gosselin children. These children are required to work more than child labor laws allow due to a loophole in the laws that govern reality shows.

Dear TLC,We, the undersigned are asking that you cancel production of Jon and Kate Plus 8. We feel that the Gosselin children are being exploited. We are concerned for the well being of the children. We are calling for a full investigation of child welfare laws that pertain to how many hours a child may work each day. These children's privacy and personal space has been disrupted by cameras in their home and in their lives. They are filmed using the toilet and taking baths in the nude. The sextuplets are now 4 years old and we feel it needs to stop. Thank you for taking the time to read our letter.

Please cancel this show. I think Jon & Kate have gotten enough freebies by exploiting their children. Despite the fact that they have sextuplets and twins, they are not the only people in America with 8 children. In fact, this country has families with more than 8 kids who get a lot less help than this crew if any at all. Many people struggle to provide for their families in this country. If they are as religious as they say they are, after they had the twins they would have been extremely thankful for the blessing of their 2 children considering what they had to go through to get pregnant. But in typical Jon & Kate style, they had to get more. I can't stand people who think that they are entitled to more - what I call blessing moochers. The best example is the new show "Hope for Your Home." It shows people who are struggling because they can't stay afloat because of their housing situation. Originally I just "loved" the show and all the personalities, including Kate who I saw as just an extreme take charge person..............."wrong" I was, if that was the case then why do we never see her take on the responsibilities for even just a few hours Jodi's children, neighbor children, Beth's family for a little cookout, a palatial mansion home is not needed for this family experience....it would be nice for the Gosselin eight to share their home with their family/friends???????????????? I dislike the pedestal Kate has acquired, either self imposed or gathered through her admirers????? She is only human, but fails to see that realistic assessment of the rest of the world....her helpers are treated with disrespect through her verbal outbursts or by totally ignoring their existence; neither is admirable. I DO enjoy the show. I do feel as a mother that kate is very mean to her husband and her children. Yelling in the childs face is just to much. If I acted this way I would be wondering when Child services would be coming honestly,and that with much restarint my husband would backhand me one as she does to john. I have some other issues with Kate as she was a nurse supposedly,If this is true ,it is very hard to see how that was possible as she holds vomit down at that sight of stitches on jon and her childrens vomit and other bodily isssues. I feel the show should be put on a hiatus until kate seeks help and a professional says she is capable to deal with tv and her family. I am personally shocked how children services havent atleast done a initial investingation. True we dont see physical abuse per say,but verbal and mental abuse as you get older becomes a physical issue. Im not looking for them to lose the extra money for the children,but it is a shame. I can not BELIEVE that a show of such standards would allow this to continue. In my opinion Jon, Kate and everyone involved in producing this show make me sick to my stoamch. How dare any of you do this to these children or children period!!! I also can't believe producers or even Jon and Kate would allow these children shown sitting on a potty, taking a shower, or any other activity where they are not fully clothed. That is considered child pornography by my standards. TLC has become a disgrace and will NEVER be viewed in my household EVER again because they constitute child pornography and the exploitation of innocent children.

Please consider immedialtey canceling the show. The children are suffering greatly from the constant filming, they have no privacy and they are showing signs of just wearing down. Mady has serious issues that need immediate attention, and that wont happen with the everyday filming of this show. Alexis is vomiting when mom and dad leave. The list goes on. Please, for the children, cancel the show. If need be, maybe an update show once or twice a year, but thats it. Do it for the children!!

I think this show needs to be canceled because it is damaging to the children. They are already probably damaged by the fact that they have been in the lime light since such a young age. Kate verbally abuses her children and down grades everyone around her. Jon must to step up and become a man. Jon should divorce Kate and file for full custody of his children. These children need a new step mom that will love them and let them be children , not robots. These are sweet children who never get to play or do anything without Kate yelling at them. I have never watched that show because I believe that these children will have the same horrible emotional issues as most child actors have. Look at the kids from Different Strokes. One is dead, one tried to kill himself and the other in and out of prison. Just plain sad!

Please take this show off the air, Kate is only watching out for her own greedy self and not the children. She is mentally abusive, and I can see the hurt and confussion in her children's eyes when she pass's down their punishment (especially Joel's). Kate is so fast with her punishment until the cameras would have to go in slow motion for the average person to actually see the abusiveness that she does.

I am disappointed that there are people out there who want this show cancelled because the way they see it is this: they're doing the best they can for their eight kids. Jon and Kate provide for them with food, shelter and clothing and plenty of love. What about all the mothers and fathers out there who abuse their kids, or do drugs or some other unspeakable crime and the kids end up in foster care? think about it, would you rather have your child being taken care of by two loving parents who are doing the best they can or in foster care. As for the child labor laws I'm sure TLC staff and producers have looked into it and it's not like cameras are there all the time. I don't know who you people think you are but when I watch the show the crew love the kids and if they thought something wasn't right they would've pulled the plug right away. Who are we to judge what's right for these kids, they obviously have parents that love them and have their best interests in mind. If you had cameras in your house all the time you would be stressed to. Think about it people. They love their kids and know what's best for them so leave them alone. I read some of the rumors and I for one find it hard to believe because the epsiode where we saw them eat crab cakes wasn't it at a restaurant, the organic cook I find really hard to believe if sometimes we see Jon or Kate making something, Jon probably does mow his lawn and we don't see it, I don't know about the personal assistants but I do know that it's hard to keep up with daily household chores especially with eight kids let alone one so if Kate has someone come by and help with laundry or other things then maybe she can use that time to get something else on her to-do list done or play with the kids. While we see Jon or thinks that Kate has Jon 24/7 what about meetings that he might have to attend for his job. Don't assume that that just because Jon works from home he doesn't need to go to meetings. Has anyone ever stopped to think that Jon and Kate are putting the money that they get from doing the show aside for the kids college tuition? I mean do you even realize how much it is to go to a four-year school these days, think about it sometime and multiply it by 8? WOULDN'T YOU WANT TO PUT IT ASIDE IF YOU WERE JON AND KATE? I know I would if I had kids. Jodi and Kevin have four kids correct? youngest is Bennett or Benny well if I were her and if I had the oppourtunity I know I would want to stay at home and take care of my kids. Maybe she didn't want to be on the show anymore because she felt it was taking her away from spending time with the kids or maybe it's hard on Jodi just being able to drop off her two youngest to help out Jon and Kate. Whatever it is I'm sure she has a good reason. Well, that's my opinion on the rumors and if I were Jon or Kate I would say "you all can kiss my ass (heinie) or f**k off. We're doing the best we can for these kids.

I read some of the rumors and I for one find it hard to believe because the epsiode where we saw them eat crab cakes wasn't it at a restaurant, the organic cook I find really hard to believe if sometimes we see Jon or Kate making something, Jon probably does mow his lawn and we don't see it, I don't know about the personal assistants but I do know that it's hard to keep up with daily household chores especially with eight kids let alone one so if Kate has someone come by and help with laundry or other things then maybe she can use that time to get something else on her to-do list done or play with the kids. While we see Jon or thinks that Kate has Jon 24/7 what about meetings that he might have to attend for his job. Don't assume that that just because Jon works from home he doesn't need to go to meetings. Has anyone ever stopped to think that Jon and Kate are putting the money that they get from doing the show aside for the kids college tuition? I mean do you even realize how much it is to go to a four-year school these days, think about it sometime and multiply it by 8? WOULDN'T YOU WANT TO PUT IT ASIDE IF YOU WERE JON AND KATE? I know I would if I had kids. Jodi and Kevin have four kids correct? youngest is Bennett or Benny well if I were her and if I had the oppourtunity I know I would want to stay at home and take care of my kids. Maybe she didn't want to be on the show anymore because she felt it was taking her away from spending time with the kids or maybe it's hard on Jodi just being able to drop off her two youngest to help out Jon and Kate. Whatever it is I'm sure she has a good reason. Well, that's my opinion on the rumors and if I were Jon or Kate I would say "you all can kiss my ass (heinie) or f**k off. We're doing the best we can for these kids.

Jon and Kate are great parents and the people complaining need to get a life. I would love to film you for a week and see how great your marriage is or what a great parent you are. Nobody is perfect and we all can't be the same. When it comes right down to it, those kids are lucky to have loving parents. Those beautiful children have a roof over their head, food in their bellies, clean clothes and a clean house and you are complaining. Why don't you go check out some of your homeless shelters or Foster Homes or go in a few of your neighbors houses. I bet the kids living in them would be lucky to have Jon and Kate for parents. They need to be cancelled because they are using their kids as a ploy for money. Child labor laws are obviously being avoided by this show. Jon should take those kids and go far away from her. They are not allowed to live a normal kid life. No extended family is ever involved with those kids(at least not that we see). These children are so pressurized and aren't even allowed to be real children. Im most concerned for Mady and Cara. Mady is acting out in obvious cries for help, while Cara bottles herself up and is overshadowed by the rest of the family. I saw Jon and Kate at a seminar in a church that was really just a Q&A session and had nothing to do with religion. They shouldnt be travelling all over the country to cash in while their kids are at home with strangers. It's disgusting that Aunt Jodi was booted from the show because Kate refuses to let her be paid. I have never seen a true christain family speak to on another this way. Jon is treated like a dog. This family is NOT inspirational and only shows what a parent should not do. There are over a dozen sets of sextuplets in the US, find one of them who doesn't misrepresent themselves and makes their families emotional/mental well being a true top priority.
