We believe the quantity of wins alone is not an accurate selection criteria for the WDC. Overall performance of a season should count, not the result of a few races only. In theory, under the present regulations, a team could save on 50 % of the races by joining the other 50 % only andspend the money on the development of the car.......

1st = 15pts
2nd = 10pts
3rd = 7pts
4th = 5pts
5th = 4pts
6th = 3pts
7th = 2pts
8th = 1pt
This way they is a bigger gap between the winner and second, and also between second and third
