ASK JUDGE GARCIA LANZ TO LET THE TIGERS BE RESCUED

As many know, a number of tigers in Cancun are in distress and only a judge's decision stands between them and finally being rescued and placed in a sanctuary.
After one of the tigers escaped and mauled a man a couple weeks ago, PROFEPA finally authorized the rescue of the big cats. Problem is, the owner appealed before a court to keep the tigers even if PROFEPA decided to seize them. Now we must convince the judge to cancel this legal instrument so the tigers can be rescued.
Please sign the petition so GEPDA can deliver it to Judge Alfonso Gabriel Garc%uFFFDa Lanz, so we can convince him that the makeshift zoo where they live is no place for a tiger. Four cubs died during november, 2010. As many as seven of the animals may be dead.
It is urgent that they be rescued!

Los tigres de Cancun siguen sufriendo y solo queda la decision de un juez entre ellos y su rescate y traslado al santuario.
Despues de que uno de los tigres escapara y atacara a una persona hace un par de semanas, PROFEPA decidio que era necesario decomisar y reubicar a los animales. El problema es que Pepe, el "dueno" de los tigres, tiene un amparo que impide la actuacion de PROFEPA.
Por favor, firma la peticion para que GEPDA pueda entregarlo al Juez Alfonso Gabriel Garcia Lanz y lo convenzamos que estos animales no merecen vivir enjaulados en situacion de crueldad.
Ya murieron cuatro cachorros. Calculamos que7 han muerto en el 2010.

We, the undersigned, ask you to please give a veredict in favor of the permanent relocation of the big cats (tigers and jaguar) that until today remain in the power of Jos%uFFFD J. Gil, alias Pepe Tigre, in Canc%uFFFDn.
Profepa, through their central offices has informed us that the animals live in a deplorable state, abandoned and suffering. It is their opinion that Mr. Jos%uFFFD Ju%uFFFDrez Gil is not able to keep the animals alive for much longer. A clear example of this is that around seven of the big cats died during 2010.
Please, we urge you to fail in favor of Profepa so the animals can be rescued and relocated to the WIld Animal Sanctuary in Colorado, with whom Profepa has worked before in similar cases.
On behalf of the animals, we thank you for your compassion and good judgement, and for taking action to benefit the suffering animals that deserve to live in a place where they can be cared for properly.

La Profepa a trav%uFFFDs de sus oficinas centrales ha informado por escrito que los animales viven en la desolaci%uFFFDn, abandono y sufrimiento y el se%uFFFDor Jos%uFFFD J. Gil no se encuentra capacitado para mantener con vida a los animales por mucho m%uFFFDs tiempo. Claro ejemplo es el hecho de que al rededor de siete de los animales en poder de esta persona murieron este a%uFFFDo.
Por favor, le suplicamos dictamine en favor de la solicitud de Profepa, para decomisar a los ejemplares y re ubicarlos en el Wild Animal Sanctuary de Colorado con quien Profepa ha trabajado anteriormente.
