I also know that many shelters euthanize animals that can be adopted. They don't wait long enough or take enough action to get the pets adopted like going to other venues. Waiting one day until an animal is killed is ridiculous. Some shelter workers are just too lazy to have many animals to care for. I read the book Redemption and was appalled.
