Where is the compassion? These animals did not ask to be born (probably their birth are due to stupid people who do not spay and neuter their pets) They have already been treated like trash by being thrown away. I also know that many shelters euthanize animals that can be adopted. They don't wait long enough or take enough action to get the pets adopted like going to other venues. Waiting one day until an animal is killed is ridiculous. Some shelter workers are just too lazy to have many animals to care for. I read the book Redemption and was appalled.

Why is Ohio so far behind in progress? Gassing is an old, outdated way of killing homeless animals. The older ones suffer more when gassed since it tkaes tehm longer to succomb to it. it is just so sad to begin with and to have their last days on earth be so miserabel...how can you all continue to be so cruel? Euthanasia is much more humane. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR METHOD TO THE BEST< MOST HUMANE WAY IF IT EVEN MUST BE DONE AT ALL!!!!!!

There can be no excuse for making an animal suffer in this way.You use that method to kill convicted murderers how can you justify using it to kill a defencless, innocent animal? Show some compassion and give an injection that is quick and painless to the beast.
