Being a Catholic is not an internal nor private affair - it affects all your public dealings and decisions. If you support acts that are strictly opposed by the Church, then you are not "in communion" with Her and need to refrain from taking Communion until you have a change of heart. I will pray for Mr. Giuliani because he is woefully ignorant that his position on divorce, gay marriage, abortion and embryonic stem-cell research is actually enabling others - specifically young Catholics - to accept these practices as a "valid choice". He should receive our prayers also for he may be in a grave state in his current marriage since he has not received a Decree of Nullity from his 2nd marriage, and this is adultery. May God have mercy on all of us sinners.
