Caylee's Law- A law to protect Children

Caylee's Law is so that no parent or family member of a missing or murdered child can profit in any form. This includes, sales of video, pictures, etc. also included is movies, books, magazine, tabloid or any other form of media.

Caylee's Law should also include a specific timeline that is required for a parent, caregiver is required to report the child missing to Law Enforcement.

This petition is for your ideas of what we can include in Caylees Law and when complete will be forwarded to The congress and Senate for endorsement.

Nobody should profit off a child's murder including companies trying to sell dolls and other items. The only ones who should be able to sell thee items like t-shirts is non profit agencies such as kid finders to help fund a search for a missing child and only if that child is still missing and not murdered

I am impressed & happy to hear that this law will protect children from a family member of a missing or murdered child can profit in any form. I thought that a timeline was already in place requiring a parent or care giver to report the child missing to Law Enforcement. I believe that any family member that obstructs Law Enforcement in their job to find the killer or killers, should automatically be charged with jail time.

I heard about Caylee's Law today on this site for the first time.

mandatory polygraghs for crimes against children. Even though it is not admissible in cout, it may provide a baseline for investigators, and may prevent precious hours wasted listening to the suspect repeating his or her denial of guilt.

What Law enacted would you like to see included in Caylee's Law? As a Mother, I cannot even imagine needing a law of this kind! By making it illegal to wait days to notify LE of your child's disappearance and not be able to profit from the tragedy, I'm hoping this will bring some justice to the lies, deceit and disgraceful way that the poor angel, Caylee Marie, has been treated. The law should include that parent's of missing children or murdered chilren can profit from telling their story if the violent crime or abduction didn't come from the parent. I think that if a family is trying to educated the public on child safety of to let people know what could happen to their children by a book, movie or likewise it would be fair for them to recieve reiembursment.

I would like to see it be a law in all states that some one that is arrested for a crime on a child not be able to get out of jail untill they have been threw a trial or fairly charged and convicted or not of the crime on the child, I would also like to see it be a law that some one that has been charged on a crime of a child can not receive any monies donated and deposited into their canteen by any one else other than the person being charged with the crime's own personal banking or financial institute...

Mandatory polygraphs in cases of missing children which allows law enforcement to zero in on suspects much sooner. Prohibit attorneys from being paid for services by selling anything related to the case to include licensing fees, interview fees, potential book deals or movie deals. Retainer agreements with defendents be submitted to the court immediately. Investigate indigent defendants and their attorneys who suddenly have a million dollar defense team. Money should not dictate who gets acquitted and who does not. Experts should be held to a higher standard and not allowed to throw doubt on evidence unless there is absolute proof to discredit the evidence itself and not do a character assassination on the other experts.

I Stumbled across this on the internet. Children are being abused, neglected and murdered. When does this all stop with these precious beings. A message needs to be sent to all that take advantage of children...and put these horrible people in jail and throw away the key. An hour that goes by without knowing where your child may be is too long. A month that passes before reporting is inhumane. Laws need to change!

I was told of the web site from my daughter in Fl. who also signed it. She has forwarded this on to the Nance Grace show many times, but there has been no response from the show. I understand there is a lot of work to be done on this bill, but I believe it will all come together in the end. The prosecution has filed the paperwork to find out how and where the money is coming from to pay Baez and the eight other high end attorneys. I hope and pray they are able to.
