This station is, especially being available via internet, provides an important connection for expats and a very positive and eclectic presentation to foreign listeners.

There are few radio stations that specilalise in traditional genre's in the UK. Celtic Music Radio is an exception to this. I have heard many stations but few of them give worthwhile coverage of up and coming bands, especially those made up of young artists who will undoubtebly ensure the preservation of the traditional music. Too often these tunes die a death because they don't get the airplay they need or deserve. Keep the station going.

That was a tremendous programme on the late Mick Broderick, three hours of flowing remniscences and rare music hosted superbly by Gordon Hotchkiss. I really enjoyed participating. BBC Radio or other broadcasters could not match the length and breadth of such a mega documentary!

Celtic Music Radio is an important provider of Folk music in Scotland and abroad. They are instrumental in promoting our musical heritage to a wide audience and must continue this excellent service.

We have an even bigger problem here in Denmark. The children only get tradition music approx. once per week on some local radio and that is quite often Scottish and Irish music. The present government stopped all special instuments in all state music schools here. I was teaching pipes i.e. highland, small pipes and uillean and it was also a struggle to get pupils, as it was so expensive...DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN IN SCOTLAND!!! LET THE KIDS HEAR OUR TRADITIONAL MUSIC!!!

What a wonderful treat to hear about this great internet station that is playing LIVE from one of my favorite citys in all the world...Glasgow, Scotland! Keep playing the music...forever more... Love and Laughter! :)
