We are energized and inspired by the renewed passion that people of all ages and cultural backgrounds have demonstrated in the primary elections.  This is an extraordinary time in our history - a time to be proud of how far we've come as a nation, as well as a time to shore up our collective hopes and dreams of bringing our country into an era of real change, progress, and prosperity.

Although the primary election process has been arduous, letting it run its course is entirely necessary and revealing.  Senator Hillary Clinton's hard-fought victory in Pennsylvania generated a tidal wave of support from the ground up: from formerly undecided voters in Indiana and North Carolina, to superdelegates, to important politicians like the Governor of North Carolina Mike Easley.  Common among all of these groups is the realization that our FUTURE is at stake, and that Hillary is the most formidable Presidential candidate.  Clinton, according to the most recent Associated Press Poll, is the projected winner in a hypothetical match up against John McCain (Clinton 50%-McCain 41% compared to Obama 46%-McCain 44%).

The two main questions voters are now asking themselves are, "Who will make the best President?" and "Who can win in the general election?"  In Pennsylvania, voters looked at Hillary's track record and her current platform.  Her detailed, 'solutions-rich' agenda to address and improve our nation's economy, our education system, our health care system, and our need for a greener eco-system goes beyond words and offers us a game plan.  Her long-standing commitment to these issues has inspired and brought people from all walks of life together (e.g., blue-collar workers, seniors, educators, racial minorities, youth, women, environmental activists). That said, it is not surprising that Hillary has won the nation's largest states - California, New York, Ohio, Texas, and Pennsylvania.

Contrary to the biased media depiction of Senator Clinton's campaign, her most recent ads have shown an ongoing positive focus on the challenges that await our next President, including issues regarding national security.  Dealing with the consequences of international crises, and of economic recession, requires wisdom, faith, resilience, and experience.  These are assets that Hillary has successfully demonstrated under extreme pressure, and why more and more Americans are viewing her as the one who can beat McCain in a general election.

We understand that, as a superdelegate, you must weigh the competing demands, needs, and concerns of your district and the nation as a whole. As you continue gathering information, we hope that your conviction that Hillary is the most promising candidate will become clear and that you will endorse her as the nominee of the Democratic Party.  We have full confidence that Hillary will unite our party and that together we will win the general election in November!

I believe Hillary to be the stronger candidate because of her tenure in politics, her established relationships, and her intellect. She is strong, decisive, and clearly has the country's best interests at heart. Please cast your vote for her. Thank you

We need a tough candidate who has specific plans to solve our country's problems. Obama is extremely charismatic and "sounds" hopeful and wants change but, this has been said before and nothing gets done. I just think Hillary is a dynamo in her own right and CAN make a huge difference in our country's history...all for the good of its people.

Hi, Sam, I was Bonnie Van Hise's pastor for a few years, and think the world of her (and hence of you). Please become a Hillary supporter. She has the ability to make changes at an appropriate pace, and has the right kind and amount of experience to lead our nation out of our current morass. Blessings, Chris Shiber

Representative Farr, I write you as a young African American man, blind to issues of race, and unmoved be the establishment of media hype. I am calling on you to use the judgment that that makes you a great leader to look beyond the buzz and hype of the Obama campaign and support Senator Clinton. She is the candidate that has the right combination of skills, experience, political savvy, know-how, and tenacity that it will take to turn this country around. Representative Farr, I implore you to support who you truly think possesses the ability to impact policy quickly and effieciently. I respect your decision, and thank you for your service to our CD. Dear Congressman Farr: Hillary Clinton is the first candidate for whom I have actively campaigned because I believe she is the best. Pls. seriously consider casting your superdelegate vote for her. Additionally, I urge you to work to ensure that delegates from Florida and Michigan are able to partipate fully in the Democratic Convention. We cannot afford to have another presidential race that lacks integrity, whereby people feel disenfranchised by the process. This would further harm our country and divide the Democratic Party. I also believe an unfair process would have a negative impact on whomever becomes the Democratic nominee. Thank you for your consideration in this matter. - Linda Crabill Byrne

There are too many questions about who is influencing Obama. His associations and memberships indicate an attitude unfavorable to women and a strong likelihood that he may be controlled an prepared for his candidacy by three possible groups that I would never want to continue to have control of the Presidency. Clintons (both) are good. Obama is a false front.

We need Hillary's vast history & knowledge of working with our government. SHE is the one most capable of getting us out of the DISASTER that Bush and his administration have gotten us into. Hillary has some terrific goals set for the betterment of our country!! We need someone that can bring us back economically and bring hope and strength to the low moral that has reared it's ugly head with people losing their homes, cutting down on necessities in order to put EXPENSIVE gas in their tanks to go to work; someone that can find a better way to protect our country than sending troops in to change countries that don't understand or want the Democratic type of government; someone that is willing to stand up and work hard to find a way for ALL Americans to be able to get the Health Care they need. I believe Hillary is the one to lead our nation back to the Strong Respected Nation that we have been long known for!!!! PLEASE cast your vote for Hillary, and SAVE OUR BEAUTIFUL, BOUNTIFUL,COUNTRY FROM FURTHER DISASTER!!! May you be blessed for all of your efforts to bring our country back to what our Forefathers worked so hard to set out for us.

Dear Congressman Farr, My belief in you is from reading your many articals and knowing that you would not judge by race, sex or any other differences. Hillary can bring peace, healing, and prosperity to this nation. Impossible you think? No, because almost all her backers will help once she is nominated. Women are brought up in a more harmonious world, not generally taught to fight, argue, discriminate or all the other life a boy has. Hillary has proven her commitment, strength, love of nation, caring and she will not give up. She has been First Lady and knows how government works. She knows what changes need to be made and we will stand behind her and help in any way we can. It is my feeling that you will stand with her too. You are that kind of stong and brave person. Whatever your decision is, you have my sincere thanks for who you are and all that you do. You are already on my email @ lamura@finestplanet.com MAY YOU CONTINUE TO BE GREATLY BLESSED.

Sam, please make the right choice and endorse Hillary. She is a tough, strong person who gives voices to those who haven't had a full one- children, women, the gay community. She has been a huge supporter of all 3 since Yale. Obama doesn't know who he is- is he a homophobe, radical, christian? I really don't get it. He's into Farrakan's beliefs- that's scary for the rest of us. Please side with us and endorse Hillary, a bright person who has been a real advocate of change.

We need someone who is strong and experienced in foreign affairs. We need someone who has been concerned for many years about health care. We need our country to get back the respect that other nations gave us before the Bush administration came into power. We need a Democrat back in the White House and I believe Hillary Clinton is the best choice.

Hi Sam. A quick note to urge you to support Senator Clinton for the Democratic nomination for President. I know that you are a great supporter of women candidates and the time is now. Hillary Clinton has what it takes to lead our country out of this terrible mess. She is tough, determined, wise, thoughtful, clear headed, tested and compassionate. We need to start investing in our cities and states, and more importantly in our children. She has worked hard and deserves our support. See you in Denver.

Dear Sam, I've supported you for decades through the American Nurses Association- Your Peace Corp values continue to show through in your leadership. You know that when women are in power - families and the underserved benefit. Imagine what a message will be sent when a MOTHER is the most powerful person in the world. Please honor the mothers and daughters in the United States who have the most to lose if the Democrats lose in November. Hillary can win the swing states, Hillary will begin turning the country around on day one. There's no time to waste.

Dear Senator Sam Farr, Don't you think that this campaign has gone far enough? I do. I believe that the best qualified candidate to be nominated to run for our party is Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton. As a woman, I am not voting for Senator Clinton because she is a woman. I am voting for her because she is the best man for the job. We need a fighter, a scrapper, a peace negotiator. We need brains behind the brawn of our mighty military complex. We need brains behind the administrators of the administrative branch of government. We need someone who is willing to stick her neck out, stick up for the right way to do things, and stick around to listen to all of the arguments in favor and against the choices we need to choose from to get our country on track. Please support the best man for the job - Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton. Sincerly, Jodell Bumatay

The country is in trouble and needs someone who is more then just a good sales person. Ideas are good, being able to turn ideas into reality is better and having a record of being a fighter is best. That is why we need Hillary. We do not need a polarizing election between the Democrats and the Republicans. That is why we need Hillary. We need to show the world that we believe in women and their ability and that it is not just talk, which is why we need Hillary.
# 108:

I believe Hillary Clinton is tried and true, a wonderfully strong and vibrant Democratic leader who will be a great President. I just did a few hours of phone-banking for her, and I was amazed and thrilled by the happiness and enthusiasm in the voices of the people supporting her candidacy. When people see my button with her picture on it, they beam back to me a radiant smile like hers. She can win in November, no doubt; everything I read, watch, and listen to points to that. I hope you will support her fully. Thank you for your consideration.

Hilary Clinton is the kind of brilliant, forward thinking, enlightened individual that comes along once in a great while. The last woman of this stature was Eleanor Roosevelt who, history has shown, was way ahead of the curve. Have we matured enough as a nation to recognize this great opportunity?

Congressman Farr, Hillary Clinton is the right choice for our country and its future. She has both the strength and resilliance to lead us in the right direction. She is exactlly what we want in our president.
