Gayanashagowa - The Great Law of Peace -La Grande Chainepour l'Unite

English version :

Let's join with people in a celebration of Truth and Reconciliation, Solidarity, Respect for each other, History and the Future...building August 4th as a universal Day.
Be just one link in the chain, and happiness will go through all of us.
A drop of happiness ... Then another drop .. And even a drop .. This is the way that brooks, and streams, tall oaks from little acorns grow becoming rivers, seas and oceans ...

Economic difficulties, social inequalities, geopolitical tensions .. Symptoms of a world in profound imbalance...

Since humanity has to offer anyone the best of itself, everyone should enjoy in his interest - as in the interest of the world where they live - of a right of happiness.
The 'Chain for Equity and Happiness' let sound that together we can build a community connected by a universal culture of equity, hope and happiness.
With the 'chain for Equity and Happiness', born from of a visionary point of view, we can participate in the historical transformation of our society and make it better for future generations.
*220 years after the birth of the Declaration of the Rights of Man and the Citizen, let's celebrate together August 4th, as a Day for equity, hope, happiness ...

Let's wish a ' right of equity 'as a fundamental principle..

* Because at the beginning, the right of happiness was reflected in the Bill of Rights draft.

* Because the Bill of Rights has been influenced by the Iroquois Constitution.

The peaceful Iroquois Confederation of the Five Nations was the most powerful political entity in North America for two centuries before Christopher Columbus, and during the two centuries that followed.
The Iroquois Constitution - Gayanashagowa - The Great Law of Peace. - 'Great Law which is binding' - 'Great law of the Unite' - 'Great law of peace', show how the five Iroquois nations, with a view of happiness, must resolve their differences, balancing their exchanges through an peaceful co-existence.

* Because the American Revolution has been influenced by the Iroquois Constitution..
Because the Bill of Rights passed by Parliament in December 1689 in link with the Declaration of Rights, enumerates certain rights for citizens of England..
July 4th, 1776, is a historic Day for English American relationship because of the United States Declaration of Independence, a statement adopted on July 4, 1776..
The Declaration of Independence, along with the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, is one of the founding of the American nation..
In the United States, the Bill of Rights is the name by which the first ten amendments to the United States Constitution are known.

Written primarily by Thomas Jefferson, the Declaration talked about the right of poursuit of happiness.

* Because the French Revolution has been influenced by the American Revolution.
The Declaration of Rights served as a model for the Declaration of Rights of Man and the Citizen..
The Declaration of the Rights of Man and the Citizen is one of the basic texts of the French Revolution..
The first Article "All Men are born and remain free and equal in rights', has synthesized the Law of August 4th, 1789 abolishing feudalism.

* Because the French Constitution uses the Declaration of the Rights of Man and the Citizen through its preamble.
* Because the nineteenth century, and a large number of similar texts in many European countries and South American countries have been inspired by the Declaration of 1789.
* Because the Declaration of the Rights of Man and the Citizen has inspired the European Convention of Human Rights signed in Rome on November 4th, 1950.
* Because the Declaration of the Rights of Man and the Citizen asserted the principles of social equality among citizens..

.
* Because the Declaration of the Rights of Man and the Citizen does not exhaustively talk about all the natural individual and collective rights.

* Because the Declaration of the Rights of Man and the Citizen has' forgotten 'some minorities:
*women -  claimed by Olympe de Gouges - who had been beheaded for her ideas in 1793 - in 1791. *children - Declaration of the Rights of the Child in 1959
...
Since humanity has to offer anyone the best of itself,
Although our memory is always selective, we cannot change the past. But our future is the consequence of what we are doing today.
In order that everyone enjoyed - in his interest as in the interest of our society - the right to happiness, let's ask for a ' right of equity 'as a fundamental principle.
* Since the August 4th, 1789 Law, the Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen, were born on the night of August 4th,1789,
* 220 years after the birth of the Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen, let's wish a ' right of equity 'as a fundamental principle.
* Since initially, the right of happiness was reflected in the Declaration of Rights draft .
* Let's celebrate together August 4th, a Day for equity, hope, and happiness ...

La Constitution Iroquoise, Gayanashagowa, The Great Law of Peace.
