Have you ever been to a circus that contains animals? Circus animals are treated badly! They are not given excercise, they are not fed healthy food, and they are beaten harshly to learn tricks. I went to my first circus yesterday, August 20, 2008. It was the ringling bothers circus and i did not know how bad the animals were treated! I will never go back there! If I go to a circus, it will be an animal free circus! Please encourage everyone to do the same! Please help spread the word and hopefully help save animals lives!

Thank you for this petiton.I have boycotted and protested Ringling Bros circus here in Boston for years.Circus anmals are treated very badly.I hope to oneday live to see the day that animals will no longer be apart of this awful industry.

Don't ban the circus. Ban the animals within the circus. Colour code the tickets for the children to be grouped into groups. Then make this more hands on for the children. Still have the acrobatic and clown acts. Teach the children an easy acrobatic act they can perform. Have the children choose who they would love to put a clown face on. Children would have so much fun putting a clown face on daddy or mommy, etc. Have magic acts and have the magicians teach the children some tricks. If they choose to have animals in the acts, have agility races of dogs. I don't mind dog agility since dogs are not wild animals and they have not been trained in a violent manner to teach them the agility races. So if they must have animals have the dog agility races.

my parents spent over $150 for 3 adults and 2 children to go to a circus where the poor animals looked sick!! after that show, i will never take my kids to a circus where there are animals!!!! I just wish more animal-free circuses could come to AZ

What have these animals sinned that they should be in prison. Thieves and murderes get better treatment. These animals need their freedom and only you that are so selfish can give them back their freedom. For the first time, become humble and let this animals free so that they can also enjoy what they have missed out on so long. It is cruel to put animals in circusses. They belong in the wild and no other place.
