We, the people of Rustenburg, one of the proud Host Cities for the World Cup 2010, petition that our beautiful City is cleaned up.

By signing this petition today you are adding your voice to the call for cleaning up Rustenburg. We will use this cause and related petition to win passage of the Cleaning Up of our beautiful City and to build momentum for continued progress maintaining our parks, roads, roadsides/pavements and entrances to our City.

We are embarrassed that our City, whom thousands of World Cup Fans will visit and see on Television, is in such a poor state.  Our city is dirty, our roads are in a terrible condition, poor road markings and potholes, our pavements strewn with litter, rubble and weeds, street lights bulbs that are hardly ever replaced, leaving many streets in total darkness...that and our City entrances authenticate an attitude of disinterest and lack of pride.

We hereby call upon our elected representatives in Local Government, Bojanala Municipality and Representatives to restore the city%u2019s longstanding commitment to a clean and well maintained city.

It is absolutely crucial that you take the time to make your voice heard, sign up and invite all your friends.  Once we reach our goal, this petition will be sent to our local Government, Our Mayor and The Rustenburg Herald.
