My heart bleeds for these poor angels who were taken away from this Earth in such a disgusting, pointless way. There is no excuse for this. We live a world of supposed enlightenment. We have geniouses from all corners of the world. Why can't someone come up with a way to solve the overpopulation problem of domestic animals, and find homes for pets without mass murdering them the way it's been done for decades?

The fact that these animals are homeless doesn't mean that they don't have the right to live. Society and government should give the opportunity to those animals to live in a proper home or shelter. Death is never the right solution!They have the right to live as we people do.

As a taxpaying citizen of the Humane United States of America, I implore you to speak and act on behalf of those who cannot- our animals. They deserve a chance, not to suffer and languish - but to live and be given food, shelter,healthcare and companionship (other animals and their human caregivers). The fact that they are treated, by many, as chattel, something disposable is heinous.Please give them a chance!

THOU SHALT NOT KILL these are Gods no one has any right to kill these animals I agree with the closing of kill shelters but keep shelters for adoptable animals and yes the Sanctuaries are a good idea something has to be done there are too many strays and cat colonies there will be litters after litters so heres a thought come up with a plan like tranqualizing the cats get them fixed bring them to the sanctuary right now Im feeding 7 stray cats I captured 5 and took them to a shelter to get them off the streets I feel bad for them its not their fault they were thrown out into the streets so I do what I can to help so please do what you can to help them its not fair to just kill them we dont kill homeless people
