TAKE NOTICE that on the 19th day of January, 2010 at the hour of 7:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, the Plan Commission of the Village of Bloomingdale ("Village") will conduct a public hearing at the Bloomingdale Village Hall, 201 South Bloomingdale Road, Bloomingdale, Illinois, on the matter of a special use permit granted to Pet Rescue, Inc. on August 13, 1979 for the property located at 151 North Bloomingdale Road ("Subject Property") pursuant to Village Ordinance #79-23 ("Ordinance").
In memory of Spats.
Spats came to Pet Rescue in 1999 as a PUPPY and died December 17, 2009 at the age of 11 years old. We had Spats posted hee for several months in hopes of Spats grabbing somebodys attention and finally get a forever home. We continued to stay on top of his decling health reporting our concerns to IDOA, DCAC and Dupage County States Attorney. Spats finally made it out of the shelter but only because he was so sick and to our understanding had to be euthanized. There are still so many that remain in cages. Since PRI lost their license last month the animals have no outlet what so ever. There are still so many of Spats friends also waiting for a home. Peggy Sue has been there for several years as is Cody, Chris Maxx and Elsie.
We will miss you Spats......

The amount of time it has taken for this to come to fruition is beyond belief. When I think of all the suffering these animals have had to endure, I could vomit. Please get them out of there ASAP!!!!! If this had been a daycare that was housing neglected animals, I am certain officials would have been in there in New York minute. If only we could subject perpetrators to the same atrocities they are found guilty of.....Both women should burn for eternity.....
