CLOSEPETRESCUEINC

Target:
Joe Birkett
Sponsored by:
Spats came to Pet Rescue in 1999 as a PUPPY. He is now 11 years old. Many of Spats friends also wait for a home or have already died waiting. It is next to impossible to get adopted when the shelter is only open  1 day a week for a few hours and completely impossible when you never get shown to the public in order to get adopted.
Spats remains at Pet Rescue waiting for a forever home that may never come.
September 21 trial has been delayed and the animals continue to wait.

This place has got to go and the people need to be punished... maybe they should try living in the cages and see how they like it. These are heartless, cruel, sick people.

Dear Mr. Birkett, Can you please take steps to close down this "shelter"? This "shelter" takes in donations from people wanting to support animal rescues and use this money for different purposes than animal rescue. They even ABUSE the animals instead. This is so morally wrong and so sad for the animals involved. Thank you for taking the time to read this comment. Yours Sincerely, Anne Krop

Many years ago, as a young adult, I went to PR, planning to offer my services as a volunteer. I'd never been in a animal shelter before,so expecting cute and adorable dogs and cats, I was shocked at what I saw. The place was depressing, smelly and dirty, and the animals looked bad. Cages were stacked on top of cages and junk was everywhere. I never went back, but I'll never forget how horrible it was. I've since been in other rescue facilities, and none have even come close to looking as awful as PR.

Truly appalling.....may all the PRI animals, both living and gone to Rainbow Bridge, get the justice and loving care that they so richly deserve. Arnon & Horak are evil and must be stopped!

I was a volunteer at Pet Rescue from 1997-1999 and witnessed the terrible conditions first hand. The sickness, disease, overcrowding and maggots in the basement of the house. I adopted Gracie, a grey and white cat, in September of 1999 right after I quit volunteering. I adopted her knowing that she had FIV and I had to put her to sleep in December of that same year because the disease took over her intestines. I still cry 10 years later looking at her picture. I want this shelter closed and I want Dale Armon stopped! She has been a menace to too many innocent animals for way too long! Stop her. Close the shelter and give those animals a 2nd chance at health and a life in a wonderful home.

CLOSE THIS HELL HOLE DOWN!!!!!!!!!!! What a joke for a rescue organization. They give good rescues a bad name & it is all the helpless pets who pay with their lives.

Please help save homeless animals, give them a chance to be adopted & have a life. Keep Pet Rescue open & extend the days and hours open to give people looking to rescue a pet more of an opportunity to come to adopt. Due to the slow economy many people have had to give up their much loved pets because they don't have the resources to feed them or have no choice but to move somewhere where pets are not allowed. Give these pets another chance to find a loving home, they deserve it.

Please close down this awful organization that only serves to abuse animals. How can it be that an organization takes in donations from people wanting to support animal rescues and than turn that around and ABUSE the animals instead! Dispicable! These people need to be given the maximum penalties for their actions and fraud. Also. WHAT HAPPENED to the way inspectors do their jobs? They tell the organization what day they are coming so the so called rescue can do the job they are supposed to for one day? The inspectors need retraining. This is unacceptable!
