Are you people so naive to think a petition would have any affect on GBP management or influence on Brett Farve. I guess fan is short for fanatic, but to continue to waste your time the past month or so is delunsionary in the fact that you believe that your opinion could actually affect the outcome. Yes he was the best thing since sliced bread, maybe the best player to ever play, for if he hadnt been a QB he probably would have been a Nitschke like linebacker or safety. But lets be real, in this case you may voice your opinion but it will not, did not, affect any decision in this regard. Time to move on.

Brett has given us more joy than anyone else in Wisconsin. We love him and want him to come back if that's what he wants. Let Thompson go, how much joy has he given us? Why should Brett go thru such a difficult time because he wanted to come back. He is no prima dona. He is down to earth. His speech in March taught us much and now, not 2 years from now, but now, he can change his mind. If this is what he and his family wanted we should give it to him. His father died. He played. His wife was sick. He played. Shame on all who make him feel so unappreciated. I think it is dispicable that Ted Thompson would treat a person of such quality (Brett Favre) the way he did. Brett and Deanna Farve have done so much good for our area plus not to speek of his God given talent for the game of football. I was very disapointed this spring when we were in Naples, Florida and met a 28 yr. old fellow wearing a Green Bay Packers superbowl ring with the name of Ted Thompson on it. This fellow purchased the ring in a pawn shop! Yes, this fellow told us a number of yrs. ago Ted Thompson was so upset with the packers that he took his superbowl ring from the Green Bay packers to a pawn shop. This ring (we saw it on this 28 yr. old mans hand and took a picture of the ring with 119 diamonds on it and the big G ! How can Ted Thompson live with himself. Ted Thompson and Murphy have taken so much from the packer fans that it is time to get the real story out and bring Brett back for an apoligy.

Ted Thompson is a FOOL!!! All he wants to do is put his own personal "stamp" on a team Brett Favre helped bring back to life after a long drought. This talk about a trade is ridiculous. If this happens....I give Ted Thompson 2 years MAX before he, himself, is packing his bags and getting the boot out of Lambeau Field. What really PEEVES me the most is the fact that the Green Bay Packers are Supposed to be " owned" by the fans...and yet they ( the Packer's Management) are showing NO regard for what the " REAL OWNERS" of the team want!!! I was asked what I wanted for my 70th. birthday . MY answer was to see Brett play at Greenbay. I hve not been to a Packer game since before Farve. Something is fishy in Denmark. I will no longer be a Packer fan; (which was instilled in me by my father in HS.) -- if the Packers do not take him back. I hope whoever he plays for beats the Packers by a mile. He did so much for Green Bay. He's been a member of our families in our livingrooms for so long. This should never have happened but it did. Both sides need to make it right! Now!

This is VERY selfish of Brett! The man said he was going to come back and then two days before the news conference he changes his mind. When he did that...he gave the Packers the right to move on without his dramatics. Yes he one of the greatest QB's to ever play the game, but please take the marketing deal and move on.
