We, the undersigned, want to express enormous heartfelt gratitude to the Board of Tehillah and Rabbi Linda for all of their support and hard work. Since Rabbi Linda was hired as an interim rabbi with a 2 year contract which concludes on June 30, 2010 we feel strongly that a rabbi search ought to be conducted very shortly. Rabbi Linda may be the candidate chosen by the search committee, in the end, but a search ought take place nonetheless.

i agree that the process of selecting a rabbi should be just that, a process. i agree that in the end rabbi linda may very well be our choice but i believe that a fair and open search should take place. this exact situation just took place in our high school where there was an interim principal and a thorough search took place.

With all due respect, I think we ought to have a rabbi search in order to better understand the options for our community.
