The Conservadems are the reason Democrats blow it almost every time the control both houses and the presidency. No one should just follow lock-step behind the President, but Conservadems never seem to know or understand when they should follow the President and the majority of the country, i.e. health care, leaving Iraq, increasing the tax rate on the rich, etc. The one that really surprises me is Senator Claire McCaskill who was an early and ardent supporter of Obama.
