Please use whatever resourses nessessary to find a cure to people suffering from this horrible and tragic affliction! It is the humane and responsible thing to do. Imagine if it were your mother, father, sister or brother-what would you do???

I suffered a severe Traumatic Brain injury in 1/1/07 I also had a broken neck broken spine and broken ribs I was in a coma for 4days and on a respirator. I lost my job of over 6 years. I need help with my financial situation and I have medical issues and I am trying to raise my family and work and it all seems so much for me. I do not know where to turn. Everyone I speak with has not answers or help.

As a concerned scientist familiar with many of the effects of brain damage, I would consider this a necessity on view of the current inadequacy of treatment facilities for brain injury victims with diffuse symptoms, especially those resulting from closed-head injury of the frontal lobes.

The entire family has the brain injury and it's consequences---not just the individual. The struggles and heartache that go along with the injury, are amplified when no assistance is given, and instead the TBI survivor is imprisoned or commits suicide (as is the case with most TBI survivors.)www.tbijustice.com
