Court Appointed Attorneys for Family Court should be manditory!

I believe I am a victim of Legal Kidnapping. The Family Court Systems of 3 Counties have failed me for the past 16 years. They have never been fair, logical, or acting in the best interests of anyone let alone my children. They have broken more laws than I can describe, and never have to worry about being held responsible for their actions no matter who gets hurt. The only person who can protect you in court is a Lawyer. So why are there no Court Appointed Attorneys for Low Income individuals who are struggling to keep their families together? Criminals get free Lawyers. So tell me, should good law abiding citizens have to become criminals in order to reep the benefits of an Attorney and a fair hearing? The Government thinks we do not deserve to have a Court Appointed Attorney in Family Court, so in other words rich people have a huge advantage over low income persons when trying to decide custody even if it's NOT in the child's best interest to be with that parent. This is one-sided and unfair. The Child Custody Statutes states that financial status of a parent is not a determining factor in what is in the best interest of the child. This is just hypocritical of the reality of Family Court. Everyone deserves a fair hearing and it cannot be unless everyone has a Lawyer to protect them. Let's fight for our rights.
