Cut the N.I.H. Budget--Cruel and Wasteful Animal Research must stop.

Currently the N.I.H. gets $32 Billion per year of our tax payer dollars. Please urge your State's Senators to investigate the many cruel ,repetitious and unnecesary experiments that are currently being performed on animals.For many years, grants to Researchers have perpetuated facts already known. Examples 1- Smoking is injurious to your health. 2- Cocaine is addictive.These ridculous waste of our dollars must stop.The N.I.H. receives more money than all but three Government catagories--Medicare, Social Security, and Defense. An estimated $8 Billion is highly questionable. At this time, struggling for spending cuts--why haven't you spoken out Senators?Hope its not because the Pharmaceutical Companies are amongst your largest contributors. It's not too late--be a hero and speak out now.
